Ok, the box contains the 1970s Heller tool, which means parts for all 5 variants, even though the reconnaissance nose and trainer spine and second cockpit aren't mentioned in the instructions. You only get decals for one JA37 with high visibility exercise markings. Also, the panel line details are embossed rather than engraved, and there's no detail on the cockpit bath sides.This kit is an accurate representation of any of the AJ, SF, SK and SH37 variants. However, this means that the fuselage is 5 scale inches (about 1.5mm) too short for the JA which had a longer (and higher thrust) engine. It won't be an easy fix either, because this means that the fuselage spine and Oerlikon cannon pod will be too short as well. Also, the stores pack includes 4 Sidewinders, the ubiquitous centreline tank, but no Skyflash missiles. Still, the Skyflash looks like a Sparrow to the point where you can just use a couple of Sparrows from the spares box.

schöner, sauber verarbeiteter bausatz, gut detailliert, alles passte, sieht fertig top aus. alternatives braun/grünes tarnschema dieses typs wäre interessant gewesen.

une excellente maquette de chez heller, sauf pour les inconditionnels de la gravure en creux, ce qui m'indiffère, étant plus attentif à l'aspect du kit qu'à des détails de salissures dont l'utilité reste à prouver, surtout pour un appareil moderne
