We did as suggested and put some tissue inside one of these and I immersed it in water for a good half an hour and the tissue was bone dry. The only thing that puzzled me was I read somewhere to test it before each use - how can you?! I suppose you could put some tissue around the phone away from the camera lens and keep checking to see if it gets wet. But I think it's a very good product at a good price and it will do us well for a special holiday we've booked in the Caribbean next year - can't wait!
