The package is a plan brown box, well padded with foam. The battery is wrapped top and bottom with plastic, and it comes with the 2 screwdrivers needed to perform the repair. Had this almost a month so far. I have not seen any abnormal performance issues on the battery. However, it is too early to tell, and I will update my review later if something happens. I just had a bad experience with another brand of battery on Amazon that died after 6 months, and its replacement failed too. Hopefully this brand is better. According to CoCoNut Battery App, it does what it says. I've attached a screenshot of what is reported. For anyone reading this review, after installing this battery, you should charge completely up to full, then drain it until it turns off, then charge it to full and drain again until it turns off. Do this about 3 times. After that, go to System --> Energy Saver --> Click "Restore Defaults" and change it back to what ever settings you want. Apparently, something in OS X changes hibernate and sleep, so it needs to be reset.

The battery lasted two years and then started to swell during use. It would interfere with the track pad when it got warm. Prior to the two years, the battery performed great. It was a good replacement battery. No issues up to the two year mark. It does not have the longevity of the OEM battery. You get what you pay for. I would by it again because of the price point only.

Instalé, venia con 56% de carga, cargué al 100%, descargué hasta que se apagó, dejé descargada 5 horas y volví a cargar al máximo. La duración al menos en este primer mes es de 3 hs con uso full. Fits perfect and battery life is amazing! My MacBook Pro Late 2011 has not ran this good in years, turns out all it needed was a new battery! I am very pleased with this item. Not only it came quickly to my door step but it came with tools, very safely packaged, and it was very easy to install. High quality battery that works amazing. I recommend this battery for those who seek better battery life and over all wellness of the laptop.

I would've given this all five stars except the tools to unscrew the screws suck. Otherwise, the instructions, packaging and all were excellent and my Macbook Pro is back to life!

People check your CPU processes. I was having issues with my battery only lasting about 3 hours but it was because of some SafariSync process that was causing the fast drain and taking up about 99% CPU usage. Once I stopped that process I was able to get 6-8 hours of battery life watching full HD movies the whole time with WiFi and Bluetooth on. GREAT BATTERY!!!

Battery was easy to install but I don't see it last much longer than the 8 year old original battery I replaced and when this battery drops below 40% it goes to 0 much quicker that the original one.

I purchased this item on July 8, 2019 and by September 2019, after two months of use, it was totally dead and would no longer take a charge. Although the web site claims "Item comes with 1 year free warranty" I was told "the return window Expired on August 8, 2019" and they needed to reach out to the manufacturer but could not locate them. So, to make a long story short, I am now in limbo with a battery that lasted two months and awaiting to see if there is any real warranty. If they replace the defective battery with one that lasts longer than two months, I will update this review. If not, all I can say is to look at other options, avoid this battery and do not trust any warranty stated on the site that is beyond the "return window."
