The pieces are accurately cut but they can be fragile and are easily assembled the wrong way round. Some of the manual illustrations may take a few minutes to understand. Careful attention to the pictorial instructions will avoid mistakes. Take your time. Sometimes I found I had to double check and then triple check a move before committing to it. Despite a few mistakes on the way all this adds up to a thoroughly absorbing (and sometimes frustrating) distracting 10 hours (circa). The end result is highly satifying. Watch the escape wheel for snags.The tiniest bit will halt the wheel train. I finished with a spray of silicone lube to assist smoother surfaces where the wheel work comes togather.

Ok for what it is a puzzle, not suitable to use as a fully functional clock as you have to wind it every 2 to 6 hrs if lucky, i found the gears were warped so when put into place would rub against the other parts, tried wax and other lubricant this helped abit but the clock would still stop at different intervals. Overall ok as a puzzle not the best rokr model.

Beautifully designed and made - and excellent instructions. Worked first time but only ran for a fairly short period because of friction in the gear train. This was fixed by spraying the gears and escapement with WD40 'anti-friction dry PTFE' lubricant that leaves a smooth non-sticky film. It now runs for more than 5 hours.In an ideal case the ply would be thicker - the holes for the steel shafts can leave the gears a bit tilted - but the design allows for this.Dying the hands (red for example) helps them to stand out. And there are a few extra pieces (including spare hands) supplied presumably to cover losses or breakages but it would be good to be told this. Likewise pieces described as 'T' something are tools - again it would be nice to be told.

The media could not be loaded.  Muy interesante y divertido el proceso de ensamble, lo que permite comprender el funcionamiento de la máquina mecánica del reloj, en lo particular se ha logrado que funcione más de 6 horas continuas con una sola carga de energía, si se hace el ensamble con los debidos cuidados puede tener mejor desempeño considerado que es de madera y para lo que fue diseñado, escuchar el tic toc del mecanismo del péndulo es muy agradable.

J'ai beaucoup aimé construire cette pendule en respectant bien les instructions données.Elle fonctionne parfaitement bien après avoir poncé finement les dents des engrenages et les avoir passés à la cire comme indiqué. Après plusieurs remontages , imprimant des efforts importants sur le chassis et provoquant des désalignements d'axes de roues préjudiciables ,le châssis prenant de plus en plus de jeu , j'ai rigidifié l'ensemble à l'aide de petites équerres bois aux endroits sollicités et tout est bien stable maintenant .J'ai malheureusement cassé ce matin l'axe de clé de remontage et j'espère obtenir le remplacement de cet axe et de la clé de la part du vendeur.

Finito di assemblare l'orologio, questo non funziona: i perni fanno troppo attrito per girare. Ho contattato il venditore per sapere se si trattasse di una caratteristica, ma mi ha risposto che dovrebbe funzionare. Bell'oggetto, da utilizzare come soprammobile. Trattandosi di un regalo non posso sostituirlo.

完成までに１０時間ぐらいかかりました。注意すべきを記載しておきます。１） 小型の部品は型から外す時に注意しないと端が欠けます。　　 ただ、歯車以外の部品は多少欠けても動作には支障がないようです。　　小型の部品は予備のパーツもいくつかはついています。　　T1、T2と書かれている部品は本体には使わず、組立に使うだけなので、ここから練習するのが良いでしょう。２）小さい部品を楔のようにはめ込んで部品を結合させるのですが、結構力が必要です。　　楔のように使う部品は、はめ込む面を軽くやすりをかけておいたほうがはまりやすくなります。　　（２，３回擦る程度）完成後、最初は１０秒ぐらいで止まってしまいました。歯車は動くのですが、振り子をつけると１０秒～２０秒ぐらいで止まってしまいました。動きが悪い場合は、振り子を付けない状態でゼンマイを巻き、１０回程度動かして歯車の動きを慣らしてからもう一度試してみてください。私のは、とりあえず動くようになりました。

Esta muy bien hecho. Los cortes de madera son faciles de zafar y el instructivo es muy explicito. Lo estuve haciendo en fines de semana y la diversion me duro. Ya lo puse a caminar y me dio gusto el resultado, aparte de que aprendi mucho como funciona un reloj basico. Lo recomiendo!
