These lights are a fantastic replacement for CFLs in a couple of fixtures I have in my house which have bothered me for years. When the CFL lights were turned on, it would take between one and two seconds and some flickering to start, not to mention the buzzing. These bulbs are the exactly the same size as the CFLs and fit perfectly where they needed to go. They turn on instantly, there's no buzzing, and the brightness is the same as the old CFLs. Best of all, there was no need to bypass the ballast - It was a direct swap and the job was done.

These lights went right in, in place of the florescent bulbs, no problems. They are nice and bright. They are compact, so they fit up in the can. They provide more light than the old florescent. I dropped one a few feet onto the concrete and it don’t break. That is very different than the CFL.

I needed two lights to replace some expensive, hard to find bulbs in my Panasonic bathroom fan/light fixture. These Silverlite bulbs were exactly what I needed. Was able to get rid of the ugly cold color of the CFLs that were in the fixture. They are a little smaller than the CFLs were so there was no problem with the fit. Glad to have found these!

Not really as bright as I was hoping, but they do work well enough. The old fluorescent bolts were definitely brighter. The upside is these will save electricity.

These look great and seem even a tad brighter then the compact florescent bulbs that I'm replacing, and at less the half the wattage! Plus the CFL bulbs are a pain to remove, I've had them break off at the base, which is a disaster! But these new LEDs are solid, and go in easy. They also come out easy and won't break even if you pull them from the end. Not that I'll be replacing them soon - the life on these is 5x longer then the CFL bulbs! They work great in my existing CFL fixtures without any modifications. Bottom line: CFL bulbs are terrible and these LED replacement bulbs are awesome!

Beware, some of these need a complex modification to the light fixture (remove "baffle" & rewire) to replace an older non-LED type bulb. Not these, they just plug right in and work. Done.

The Bulb works well, it's a lot brighter than the 13W CFL it replaces. Also it turns on instantly, and does not buzz. Truly Plug and Play for me, worked as advertised, great upgrade. I'm renting and can't just bypass the ballast, so this solution is perfect. I have installed it about 2 weeks ago and am very happy.One single issue, of the 4 bulbs I ordered, one arrived broken, as you can see on the pictures. The two plastic posts that held the base were simply broken. I carefully re-attached the base with a dab of epoxy glue, after making sure the electronics could not contact the metal body. It works now, but I wish the manufacturer had a better QC process.

Met my needs. Nice and bright.

Used these to replace harder to find fluorescents. Made well and easy to install. Lighting is much whiter than our previous fluorescents.
