BrexLink USB 3.0 Type C Cable, USB C to USB A Charger Cable (2m 2-Pack) Charging for Samsung Galaxy S10 S9 S8 A3 A5 Note 8 9 10, Huawei P10 P9 P20 Pro, Google Pixel, LG V30 G6 (Grey)

This is the second time I purchased cords from BrexLink. The cords are durable, sturdy, a good price, and seem to perform as described. I have not tested these on data transfers when connected to a computer nor with their fast charging capability. The older cables I had from BrexLink, did work with these two features, though.My first set of cables lasted quite a while--probably over a year, but I was reckless with them overestimating just how durable they are. I learned that despite being so, still treat the cables with care. I many times closed the long cable in my car door or would smash it into a bag or pocket. I noticed the charging speed severely slowing down through this. So, just treat these with some care as you should any cable, and they should survive many accidents you might have that stress it.

The things I like about these cables:- Sturdy- Snug connection- Quality insulation- Fast Charging Capable (works for my Samsung S9)- They are USB 3.0 as listed.- They feel good in your hand and seem like a well made product- You get 2 cables which is a great value.- The have velcro straps on the cableThe things that I don't like or you may not like:- The cables are stiff (which can be good or bad depending on your usage and needs, etc)- The cables may be a bit long (again, depending on your usage)Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. I will post an update if I run into any issues or problems with these cables that are important to note here.

I bought this item for my Samsung Galaxy S8. First the cord that came with it had crapped out then the silly adapter piece. Okay my cell provider wanted $29.95 for 1 6ft braided cord. So I came to Amazon. I looked at several and decided on the Brexit 3.0. It came today. It fast charges my phone at an amazing rate at least as fast as when my original cord was new. I love the material its made from. It's not going to get damaged unless you deliberately try in my opinion. The connection to my phone is solid. There is no way its going to come loose. Takes a good tug to get it undone. The cord is not so heavy (as i read in other reviews) that its going to drag my phone off a table. Nor is the connection so stiff that its going to damage my phone. The strap to keep the cord wound up neatly is very nice. The cord itself is a nice weight, sturdy,not too stiff. And I received 2 for half what I would have paid.

When I received my package the included box was open and only contained 1 cable. I've attempted to contact Brexlink via their FB page but got an automated response to contact them via their website. Slightly annoying but that's what I've done. Now I wait. I won't be waiting long as I really need my cables, BOTH of them, so I may end up having to return what I received. I'll update this review if necessary.*Update* After reaching out to them it took almost long enough for me to give up hope, but they came through for me. I promptly received my missing cable and now is all well in the cable owning world.

Update 2: The cable no longer provides enough current to even maintain the charge, let alone charge the phone up. As soon as I switch cables, there phone charges as expected. Monoprice has much more durable and sturdy cables. I should've been more patient.UPDATE: After 8 months of use, 1 cable only works with pressure applied to one side of the usbc plug. The other one has pushed it to a year before fidgeting the cable to start the charge. 3 stars because it is an adequate product, but I don't want to replace cables every year with annoyances in between. Dog didnt chew through it and no kinks that caused a tear in the braided shielding.So far so good. Both the cables work as claimed. The cable is quite robust compared to other braided cables I've purchased. The USB-C plugs are always the weak links for all cables I've bought. Time will tell if these cables hold up like OEM. Surely my pup won't damage these as easily as the OEM cable they replaced.Sidenote: you can get these for a $1 cheaper on their website

[See Update below]This cable is very stiff. Mostly ok but sometimes annoying. But that's not it's only problem.It is fine for charging but not for debugging during app development. Attempting to deploy an app from the IDE ( Android Studio) typically fails with "disconnected" notices.Switching to a different cable succeeds 100% of the time.[Update:]The seller has sent me several replacement sets of cables and this has helped me identify the pattern> All the cables will charge my phone (Pixel (1)) when plugged into either Windows or Mac box, but only the non-USB 3.0 (i.e. gray spacers in the USB-A connector) will allow data transfer, which for me shows up as being able to make and maintain a reliable connection between the phone and Android Studio running on the computer. The USB 3.0 (i.e. blue spacer in the USB-A connector) will *always* allow charging but will *never* allow a data connection.I use these cables now by the bad at night for charging but never for doing any development (or file transfer) work.Leaving my rating a 3 stars since they do charge.

NOT for Moto Z3. It claims to work with other Moto products and "other c type devices" BUT it only work with Moto Z3 on a 2.4 standard charger. When plugged into any one of our new Z3 rapid charge sockets it does absolutely nothing. Plugged into an old standard 1.0 or 2.4 amp charger for wall or clock it works fine at standard charge speed. So good product for standard charge sockets 2.4 or under with non rapid charge feature, at least with the Moto z3 phones. Returning and trying another. The boxed cables that came with phone are too short at 3 feet. Hoping I can find something that will offer disability,length and work with the new charger as well as rapid charge. I don't feel right about giving low stars because I've only had them an hour and can't use them with z3. Material feels and looks durable and sturdy(stuff but I assume will loosen up in time and use, and you want it to be somewhat stiff) length is perfect and refersable c end is a nice bonus. I wish they worked for us.

These cables were great initially with fast data transfer speeds and charging, but a year and a month later both of my cables have stopped working (partially). Whenever I plug them in, my phone (Samsung S9) tells me that my phone is charging slowly, and that the cable may need replacement, or that I should check the charger connection. This message does not appear with other cables.I really wish it lasted, because they have served me well and worked excellently, but due to the poor long-term durability, I just can't recommend them.

I looked at many similar products before deciding on this one and I am confident that I have made a good purchase. The cables are well made and at 2 metres are perfect for connecting my usb monitor riser to my pc which is under the desk. My wife couldn’t understand how I can describe the cables as sexy looking but it’s true, the plaited covering is far better looking than the usual blank looking pvc.

Feels very strong and top quality. Looks and feels like it would last a very long time. I've had a fair few of these in the past and they haven't lasted but I have to admit this just seems and feels a lot stronger and durable. I've tested it and it is fast charging too as long as you use a fast charge plug. You get 2 in the box to so great value. Would purchase again without hesitation.

Didn't last a crack, this version is not as good as the previous version, my dad still has the older model of this usb lead and its still perfect, the newer version unravelled at the usb section and wires were exposed even with careful usage I got through 2 of these in as little as 7 or 8 months. Terrible product.

Purchased so it would fast charge my phone with a plug adaptor but neither cable work with a plug adaptor (tried a couple of different adaptors). It will charge with a computer but only a slow charge not the rapid 1.5 hours charge I get with using an adaptor. As I don't have a computer at home these are pretty useless.
