I have had my Vitrazza glass office chair mat for a month now so it's still early days, but so far so good. It's a beautiful product that seems to work exactly as it is supposed to. I specifically wanted a glass mat designed for sitting on hard wood (versus carpeting) which is why I ordered this mat. While somewhat heavy, I was able to install it on my own. The packaging was well designed to provide optimal protection during shipping. My biggest regret is that I used some of those nasty plastic floor mats that you can buy at your typical office supply store for several years prior to getting this glass floor mat. In addition to not wearing well, those plastic mats damaged the portion of the wood floor to which they were exposed.

This is a really nice mat. At first, I thought I made a mistake in buying it because it was so heavy, but now that I have it in place, I'm really glad. I can roll around on my chair and not worry about marking up my wood floor.Also, I was concerned that this mat might crack on my slightly out-of-level wood floors, but so far it hasn't. When I walk on one corner, I can tell that the floor is lower there and the mat moves up and down a little (1 mm at most), but no cracks. Maybe I should shim that corner with a rubber bumper.

This thing is awesome. If you have one of those cheap plastic ones, get rid of it, as the glass ones are 1000x better.
