My first use of this on my 750 Honda ran for 15 years. This second time is working well so far as expected.

Installed on a '78 KZ1000 LTD (Keep your points plate if it works!)
I installed this Dyna S ignition on my 78' kz1000 and it woke it up, big time. The bike is almost 40 years old and was struggling to spark with the points plate. After I installed the Dyna S and did static timing (you can learn how to do this very easily) The 1000cc monster wakes up with just one kick of the kick-starter! I'm using factory coils (this kit was designed for them or their dyna coils.)I will warn you however, you should keep your points plate as a spare. Dynatek is a popular brand for drag racers, this being because it will give you a good consistent, hot spark. I've seen guys run these things for five plus years and not have a problem and, I've seen guys have problems after a year or so. To maximize your milage I would suggest using factory coils or coils with at least 5 ohms of resistance. If you are going on a long ride take your points plate with you just in case.“The flame that burns Twice as bright burns half as long.”
