This is a very elegant, simple solution which allows for the take-n-play train sets to be used seamlessly with the traditional wood tracks. Many of the take-n-play sets are based on movies and have hills, motorized cranes, shaking bridges etc which would be awkward to do with the wood tracks. Now we can have the wood tracks join the different 'parts' of Sodor island! I do recommend putting these pieces in a ziplock or container away from little fingers that may lose them or worse yet swallow them!Fantastic, brilliant! I'm buying two more sets for the flexibility they provide.

These are an amazing product!!! I had no clue we could use the take and play tracks with the wooden tracks. My entire house has turned into the Island Of Sodor, and my toddler couldnt be happier

This does exactly what it is supposed to--it allows the hook up of different types of tracks (wood and take-n-play) and makes the sets quite versatile. Many, many combinations are possible.
