It is a very useful book for engineers interested in trenchless technology. I use it as a teaching book for my students. However, since it is US-based, Europeans must provide extra local reading material for students to correct for local practices that differ from American. In my case it was done omitting one chapter with a special No Dig technology, which we do not use in Denmark yet. Another issue is the lack of exercises if the book is meant to be used in higher education. If not, no problem. I brought my own exercises.
