A real eye-opener
I had been looking for a guide to practice parkour indoors as a complement to my weightlifting training and this is the only one I found in English (there seems to be many more resources in German, in fact the author is German.)It is a very short, self-published book, but what it lacks in presentation it makes up in content. It is a real eye-opener, showing very creative ways to combine existing gymnastics equipment in order to simulate many parkour challenges in a small space. Once you see what the author did, it becomes easy to imagine new courses by yourself, maybe replacing the more expensive apparatus with more readily available alternatives. It also breaks down the fundamental movements logically, so they are easier to learn progressively.

So helpful!!
My husband has started teaching Parkour at our dance studio. There are not a lot of gymnastics tools there - but this book has helped give him sooo many good ideas for classes. The pictures are really helpful - as I am a visual learner it really helps me makes sense of the book. I would recommend this for anyone just starting out - this is not for someone who is advanced - JUST BEGINNERS! But worth it to get started!
