Marvel Black Panther Legends Erik Killmonger, 6-inch

An incredibly detailed figure for less than $20.This is Erik Killmonger from "Black Panther", or otherwise known as Golden Jaguar, the main antagonist of the movie. Like many other Marvel movies, the villain is pretty much an evil version of the film's hero, but as far as the figures go this guy blows away the T'Challa figure in terms of details and sculpt.I don't know how the scale and price point come into play for figure of the Year candidacy, but this figure at least has to get some recognition. It's crazy what was achieved with this small Marvel Legends. I've seen statues that cost 2 or 3 times as much that don't look as good as the sculpt and details of the suit look on him.The figure captures a ridiculous amount of the suit's subtle little nuances perfectly. The lines along the vibranium in the legs and arms, the jaguar camo spots on the chest are washed over the dark gray paint scheme. The gold trim on the feet, hands and collar are vibrant and metallic, giving off a genuine-looking sense of wealth and royalty. The head is covered with Wakandan-style tribal markings and aggressive lines. The eyes are a fiery gold that help finish off the evil look, as if the "fangs" weren't enough for you.He's pretty poseable as you would expect from a Marvel Legend figure. His ankles, knees, thighs, wrists elbows, shoulders and head all twist or bend. His torso can pivot so that he is either standing upright in museum pose or he can be hunched over and a combat posture, both of which this figure looks fantastic. You can get pretty dynamic with him and he will hold.As far as accessories go, he has the necessities. In this version of the character, he wasn't in the movie much so he pretty much has what he uses on screen. This includes the vibranium sword and part of the tribal spear that he snaps off in his first fight with T'Challa. Also another set of hands with the claws in attack mode. And he comes with the leg for the Build-A-figure Okoye. There is one noticeable missing accessory that would have put this figure over the top and that is an alternate Killmonger head sculpt. He would look really cool with a Michael B. Jordan face on the body of the vibranium suit.All-in-all, this is the best figure to come out of the "Black Panther" assortment, hands down. One of the top Marvel Legends figures in recent history, in my opinion. If it isn't number one it does deserve to be in the conversation. It is just so packed with details for what you pay for you almost feel bad. Whoever took the time and sculpted and painted everything, you deserve so much praise.

The only problem with the product is, if your child is too young, they’ll lose the accessory’s, but you can always keep them in a Ziploc bag

My son loves it. He opened it right away and started planning with it. He is using it as a prop in his African American History report on Michael B. Jordan. 🤩🤩🤩

With its hero set, Black Panther’s villain gets his own action figure in Killmonger.It is awesome, looking like he does in the movie’s climax when he suits up to fight against the Dora Milaje and then later against T'Challa. The figure looks great with a nice texture on the suit down from the claws, chest to the mask. Standing above 6.25 inches tall and with the same articulation as other Marvel Legends figures, although like Black Panther its arms allow for the wider movement. As well as two sets of hands one clenched to allow weapons he uses, a spear tip, and the blade. Another set to allow for clawing at his foe. I wish that this included an alternate head to swap out as Black Panther does. As well as the BAF component, Okoye’s right leg.

My grandson loved this man. At the time I bought the toy he loved black panther. Although he had moved on to other characters he still play with his black panther

Man, Hasbro is getting great with their proportions! Awesome figure for an awesome character, Some of the best body proportions and textures i have seen from anything Hasbro has put out. I do wish it came with an unmasked head but still a great figure!

This figure is great. It feels different and the articulation is top notch so is the paint. This is a must have i will buy another one or two just to have in package.
