Nice sturdy shelf
The shelf reached me in very good condition and fast too. It is varnished, but with a clear varnish, so the allover color is a bit light for my taste. It's just sometimes hard to tell just from pictures online. However, if you prefer a darker varnish it's not a tough job to get done by any carpenter. The embellishments themselves are nice and there are no cracks anywhere. It's sturdy too.As I said, for the room I had intended it for, it is a bit big, so I am not sure yet if i'll actually keep it on the wall or will use it as an embellishment in another shelf.So to give you all a better idea of its size and finish I added two pictures with various objects for reference. One picture is in natural light (on desk) one in lamp light (inside book shelf). I hope it will help you with your choice.Other than that you don't have to worry about delivery experience or quality.

A little expensive for its worth
The shelf which I received was bent in the middle.one corner of it was also damaged.hence i had to return it.. otherwise it's quite sturdy and beautiful
