Everyone should purchase the Tao Te Ching, as it is a very ancient piece of literature. The language seems puzzling and at times contradictory, but makes sense the more you read over it. Regardless of what other people might say, the Tao Te Ching is not just a philosophical text. It makes use of language which the I Ching (a book of divination) uses. The text is very spiritual in nature, and should be taken seriously as such.

This is THE absolute best Tao Te Ching translation. I bought it when it first came out and just bought it to gift to my son.

Kindle version: The illustrations are scarce and tiny. The text is available in numerous places on the Web for free so not worthwhile here.

Seller is great. Book was advertised well. This version has lots of translator blather but the verses are intact
