Light Grenades, their sixth studio album, is a very new perspective for Incubus. "We spent more time crafting, and sculpting these songs than we have historically" says Brand Boyd. The highly anticipated new album - which was produced by renowned producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Korn) - is a mix of hard rocking songs and sublime ballads recorded over the last year in both Los Angeles and Atlanta. This is Incubus' first new music since A Crow Left of the Murder which spawned the hit 'Megalomaniac'.

Solid as a rock
By all accounts this was never going to be a classic Incubus album and many reviews suggest the lads have played it safe. For a hard-core Incubus fan this album is a must. It does lack the signature 'anthem' such as "Just a phase" and "Sick sad little world" however the new songs are a refreshing mix of hard and melodic, "Kiss to send us off" haloing a great start after mood music "Quicksand" - "Dig" follows and adds a softer edge whilst single "Anna Molly" gets right back to the harder side. Great vocals as usual, Brandon Boyd in fine fettle, and some really great guitar moments that all go to prove the boys still have it but is there better to come? Catch them live, you won't be disappointed.

Another great album from Incubus. Their sound is constantly evolving but consistently brilliant. Especially Anna Molly.

Para mi, este es el mejor álbum de toda la carrera de Incubus, de lejos, el más experimental en melodías.Es increíble este vinilo ya que se nota como han hecho mezclas diferentes para disco y para Vinilo. Aquí se pueden escuchar claramente tanto las guitarras como los bajos saturados con más ganancia y más saturadas y sucias, un disco que suena más real en Vinilo que en CD (tengo ambos), además que el Artwork que hizo Brandon Boyd en este disco es espectacular.
