R4 29" BMX Cruiser Bicycle 5-Spoke Mag Alloy Wheel Set W/Freewheel (Matte Black)

First off - I took off a star because the matte black paint is chipped in a couple areas. I'm not going to dwell on it or attempt a long return process, as it should be easy to touch up since it's matte black. They were packaged well, but the areas that are chipped are safe from travel, therefore I believe they should have been caught at QC before shipping, and not sent. Other than that, they are awesome.* With tires mounted * , my scale read the front wheel at 6 lbs. 4.5 ounces., and the rear wheel at 6 lbs. 9.2 ounces. This puts each wheel roughly 1 lb. over the stock spoke wheel they replaced. I wanted the 5-spoke look more than anything, so on a 29" cruiser the extra weight means nothing to me. I wanted to build a 29" cruiser tribute bike to my 1987 GT Performer I had BITD, and these wheels are the icing on the cake.

Tacos. These come on walmart bikes. That alone should tell you the quality. Dont jump off a curb. Rear hub siezes up also. You get what you pay for. Get Encore if you want mags that can handle your weight and have fun on
