Did ballet for 10 years but stopped for 5. Use shoes to do ballet based photography. Good for photo use. Wouldn’t rely to dance in or for anyone not familiar with pointe or ballet (could injure yourself accidentally)

My favorite pair so far and favorite brand.Perfect fit. The seven fits like a 6.5 which is my normal shoe size. Very nice and easy to break in .

For those thinking these are for professional dancers or even semi advanced dancers these shoes are not for that. These should only be for beginners or used as a prop for pictures etc. These are a step up from the super cheap ones you see on amazon. But i will say the Shank in these is plastic. you will not be able to get a good bend in the shoes arch to help you because it constantly moves or just goes back down to flat once you start moving around in the shoe. The box is more wider so if you have wide feet and are trying out pointe this would be a good start before you look into professional shoes. im a size 6 and ordered a size 6 and its pretty big in the back its really baggy i can fit atleast 3 fingers between my back heel to the shoe since the box is so wide my foot just sank in it. So id order a size before your normal shoe size to make a better fit. The packaging is really nice came with a mesh bag for the shoes to breathe and gel toe pads which are extremely nice quality ( be careful if you have pets pet hair sticks to them easy and is hard to get off). Its super nice to have the ribbon already sewn on loved that. but would've liked some stretchy elastic bands to be sewn on them as well but i can do that myself. Other than that i liked the shoes and they worked great for what i needed them for. I have been a dancer for 15 years and only needed them for a photoshoot. but please look into professional quality for shoes for pointe unless being used as a prop or photo session etc.

I'm a size 81/2 in shoes wide width and i bought a size 9. Boy oooh Boy it was small and the back was very short so it didn't cover my heel properly. I had to use a razer and slit down the middle of the tie area in the front. It took a lot of work to break in the shoes. I has to crush the toe area to soften it a bit. I may have to reorder a size 10. I bought a RED and the colour is very rich.

The shoe it's self is alright, it's made well. But I would to say, if your arch isn't high, remove the plastic shank that is inside of the shoe. It will soften the shoe better than having a piece of plastic in as your shank. This shoe is also better for beginners or for potho props. But other wise this shoe is well made and is very good.

Got this for my daughter's dance class. She has slender cute feet but big size for her age since she is also tall. I got her a 7 and they fit but not for long. The are also a bit slim on the sides.(I wouldn't recommend for wide feet). They are kinda comfortable and sturdy thou. I would REALLY recommend you guys to buy one size up than your normal. Other than that good shoes.

(+) : they're pretty & the shank is okay. Plus they come with toe protectors and a bag.(-) : the sizing is odd; the shoe is longer than expected (I followed the instruction to size up). She is one hard box to get over; be it on pointe or on releve. The pair was not too expensive but add in a few 10$ and you can get an excellent pair fitted to you from a professional shop.

Exactly as pictured. Very pretty in person. Draw string is perfect and stayed tied when wearing the shoes. As a beginner these shoes do ok. At the very least they simply look beautiful just hanging up in my room. Wood sole is a little too rigid and I do have trouble bending my foot over my toes because of it. Otherwise, nice pair of shoes, specially if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a higher quality shoe.

Delivery is fast. Size is bigger than the measurement from the product. Heel is loose. Returned and got refund very fast. No issue there. Ordered a smaller size. Will see how they fit. Looks pretty. Fabric doesn't look very durable though. The silicon toe protector is cool.Update: first order was too big. Returned it with no issue. Re-ordered a size smaller and they fit well. Upgrade the review to 5 star.

I took ballet years and years ago and decided to start again for the exercise - BUT I wanted to see if I could still stand en pointe before shelling out $ on shoes.These are great for the $, but obviously don't buy these if you are serious about dancing - good for light barre work

It has a long lace around top that goes around shoe. Somehow when my daughter was wearing shoes, it came out and it took me hours to put back in all the way around as there is no easy way to put it back all the way. There should be small cuts on the way so that lace doesn't get stuck in the middle I had to cut it through scissors n rip it as lace was going through till the end. It's a big flaw in that shoe.
