Dirndl Womens 3-Piece Midi Dirndl with Floral Embroidery

Dirndl was perfect for me to wear while working an Oktoberfest event. I am a women's size 14, so I ordered by my waist size and then sized up one size for comfort just in case. The clothing was lovely, and fit perfectly with room to move and serve. If I had not sized up, the outfit may have been snug, which you don't want for moving (and drinking) at an Oktoberfest, so keep that in mind. The lacing on the front had well stitched loops, so if the top was at all big, it would be easy to just lace more tightly. The apron is cotton which is way more practical for working than other outfits I've seen with satin ones. Nice long ties on the apron to wrap around and tie (left or right depending on whether you are single or taken).Overall couldn't be happier with the outfit.

For me, the 46 was too tight and the 48 was a too large, specifically in the bust area. Sure you can cinch the laces, but for me that would fold the front zipper & details over about an inch. Instead,for this neckline, I'll tailor the bodice at the side seam so the front can lay flat. If you get a sweetheart neckline, the cinching will work just fine. All in all, very nicely made and I'm quite happy with the dress.

I was amazed how this dirndl fits! On me it is actually just as form fitting as in the picture. I guess I have enough "Holz vor der Huetten" to make it work. :-) I like the cotton fabric because I did not want anything with a shiny skirt or apron. I might shorten the apron a bit because is covers the pretty stitching on the bottom of the dirndl, or maybe not use the apron at all. Yes, there is nothing fancy about the blouse, but I wanted a sort of plain, cotton look anyway. Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The dirndl fits perfectly and is of very nice quality. My wife chose this and was very happy with it. She had no problem with the size conversion chart and the dress fit perfectly. One recommendation to purchasers is that the top (a separate piece) is very revealing. My wife is buying a different/mid-cut top for next year.We highly recommend this outfit and this seller. The dress and apron are well made with great stitch work. The zipper in the dress is great! Fits well, as expected. The top has a different neclike that needs a good bra underneath.

The skirt has a lot of extra material, but still a pretty good fit and super cute and comfortable. Since dirndls can be somewhat snug, I decided to size up, which was a good idea for the chest (I'm a 38 DD), but there's was a bit of extra room in the shoulders.

I actually wanted to buy a dirndl when I was in Austria but just didn't get around to it. I was pretty ho-hum about ordering one online, but was surprised at all the choices. I love the look of this dirndl, after reading many reviews took my measurements, ordered it and was pleasantly surprised when it fit just perfectly. Husband loves it and now wants to buy Lederhosen. oh boy.

The product material is excellent; just the fit is not correct - you have go to up two sizes to get a good fit since there is no zipper and you have to pull it over your head.
