Dirndl Womens 3-Piece Black Midi Dirndl with Red Embroidery

Due to the reviews of the differences and issues with sizing, I was skeptical that I would need to return this and wouldn't have enough time to get a different size before leaving in a few weeks. I got the size 44 as most of the reviews recommended going up a size or two from your normal US size and that is correct. I am a US size 10, 5'7 and about 165 lbs with wider hips and an athletic build; I got the 44 and it fits quite well. The red stitching with black fabric is vibrant and stands out. Pair this with a traditional braided hairstyle, some red lipstick and a nice pair of flats or boots and it screams GIVE ME BEER. The dress around the bust is a bit loose as I don't have the bust that is normal for this large of a size, but nothing that can't be easily hemmed, pinned or adjusted with a push-up bra, otherwise it fits well and I love it! The stitching looks so beautiful and authentic. It is not fetish-y or cheap looking and is great for a tourist in Munich at Oktoberfest. The blouse fits perfectly and cinch/ties in the front. A well crafted dress for the price and a nice salute to the $250+ authentic, hand embroidered dirndl you can buy in Germany.

If you buy anything in Euro sizes you have to expect it to run smaller than you expect for the "US equivalent" on the size chart. I usually wear a size 12 for dresses of this style. I bought at size 44 which is supposed to map to a 14, because again I understand it would run a little small. Well, it's more like a size 10! I can hardly breathe it is so tight around the ribs. I should've gotten the 46 but I made it work.One thing to note: Be careful when ironing because the red detail around the neckline IS PLASTIC AND MELTS! Yes, the detail is plastic coated and will melt on your iron and then all over the garment. Considering the dirndl is cotton, you have to iron after washing. Just be careful and don't run the iron over the neckline!

I bought this last year before Oktoberfest and just pulled it out again to wear to another one (or two) this year. I loooove this dirndl--- I got a lot of compliments and it fits me perfectly. For reference-- I got the size 34 and am 5'7", slim build, 32D padding/pushup, will fit 115-125lbs... its tough to zip this year... why is it that the older you get the harder it is to lose weight?! :) Wont stop me from drinking beer and eating sausage come saturday (because I'm going to be eating green beans all week)!

This is a great quality dirndl, especially for the price. It seems to be made with quality and care.It fits like I expected it to using the sizing chart. Zipper works good. The apron and shirt are OK, but the dirndl dress itself is very very nice, would defiantly order this again if I had to, but it seems like it will last a while and I wouldn't need to. I recommend buying it.

Everything about this screams give me beer. The colors are great and it makes my boobs huge. I love it not too short either. The arms are super tight though I had to cut out the elastic on them so I would not loose my arms due to lack of blood flow.

I received a size to large on my order. When I went to order the right size, it was no longer available. Luckily, the cord on the bodice can be pulled tight. I like the fact that it comes with a blouse. The quality is ok, but it is a thin cotton.

I ordered a size larger than I normally wear as I read the other reviews. It fits great although I have not yet washed it. If anything goes wrong with the washing, I will revise my post. Otherwise, I would recommend this product and would also recommend ordering a size up.

Bought this for future Oktoberfests and also to wear last Halloween. The quality and fit were exactly what I had hoped for and I would definitely recommend this product to those looking for a simple but well made dirndl.
