TH IS DEVICE OFFERS HASTLE FREE AUTO FEEDING. THE ONLY ISSUE IS TH AT UNDER MOSTURE CONDITIONS THE FEED STICKS TO THE DISCHARGE AREA. OTHER THAN THAT THIS PRODUCT WORKED AS ADVERTISED.

Pond fish feeder works well. There are videos on line to help with the programming. Feeder did not come with all the parts(screws) for feeder which says included in directions. Seller did not seemed concerned when I contacted them. You may need to get parts like i did.

I have purchased three of these over the past 4 years and every one of them failed. They all came up with ERR on the display screen but gave no indication of what failed. I really like the product, but unfortunately, I have put out way too much money for a inferior product that doesn't last more than 1.5 years. The first product I bought, I was able to get a service contract on it, but since then this has not been offered. Probably because it is not reliable. This product is way too expensive for just 1.5 years of service for each purchase. If a service contract was offered again, then I would purchase it again.

The good: once you get the unit programmed and working it does a good job as long as it doesn't rain.The bad: programming and rain clogs the chute.There is no other way to say it- programming this thing is a real pain. An if you lose the instructions good luck. I highly recommend making a copy and taking a picture with your phone. This wouldn't be necessary except for the fact that you have to program everything each time you shut the feeder off. Yep, it loses all memory each time you shut it off. That's a pain considering how tough it is to program. I only use it for vacations, not for feeding my koi when I'm home.The other terrible part is that the chute that delivers the food is completely exposed to rain. So if it is raining while the unit turns on the food will clump and get stuck eventually completely shutting it down. I have in emergencies covered the chute with a tent of tape to protect it but it is a bandaid at best.

I bought this last April to ensure that my koi had regular feedings throughout the summer, whether I got busy with other projects or not. Because my daughter was getting married in June and needed me to help her with the “last-minute” stuff, I didn’t immediately pull this out of the box or set it up until after the Amazon returns month had expired. I contacted the seller with the issue that I had, which was that the electronic panel would turn on, but as soon as I pushed any button, it would go off again, so I was not able to program it at all. The seller told me they could not accept a return or do anything to help me since I had waited past the month. They do not stand behind their product at all. Upon disassembly by my son and husband, we found that the circuit board had shoddy soldering which had caused it to short out.

Setting the time is no problem but programing the feeding amount, i.e. how many times per day and times to feed are not user friendly. If you make a mistake, you can’t go back to make changes, the instruction says to turn it off, wait 10 seconds turn back on. Then reset the time and programing intervals all over again. I only had this feeder for a few days I notice some of the numbers were not reading or partly readable. One small detail I read for returning this product, I have to pay the postage back to China it would have been 500 dollars needless to say I lost my money don't buy

Once I figured out how to set the timer and everything else, I really like how it works. I had a few days to test it out before going on vacation and everything went according to plan. Followed others suggestions and used a 5 gallon container to prevent critters from getting into the feeder. ThanksGrant/Kaneohe, HI.
