Tupperware Bread Basket Server - 2.85 L Plastic Fridge Container

Works great. Only drawback is that it's not quite wide enough to fit a full loaf from my bread machine, I have to cut the loaf in half then lay them in end to end, but it works.

While it has what appears to be the correct logo, this is most definitely NOT Tupperware quality! My bread gets just as dry just as quickly in this as the cheap plastic bag it comes in from the store! I own & grew up using a great many Tupperware products, my mom & grandma both did too and this is not even close!

The yellow *lid* doesn't fit as tight as I'd like, but just flip it over and use the yellow part as your base and all is right with the world! It's a bit expensive, but I'll pay top-dollar for top-quality pieces.I live in a camper full-time and this has saved my loaves of bread being chewed on by the occasional mouse. :-)Looks and feels like the old-school Tupperware my mom still uses!!

Knocked off a star just because of the smell of the item. I am hoping it will go away or I will find a way to lessen it. I do think it is because the item is shrink wrapped therefore the smell of the plastic is trapped. Keep in mind, plastics do smell but left unwrapped the smells are that apparent. The item is nice. The lid fits snuggly. I can see where a home made load of bread would fit nicely into the container. A family size loaf of bread will not fit inside of this container. HOWEVER. Great for English muffins, raisin bread, bagels...etc. I am happy with the purchase, overall. I will buy a Tupperware piece that will fit a family loaf of bread but I am happy to have this for the bread items mentioned. I would buy this item again. Oh, one more thing...you may want to store the bread in the plastic bag until the item airs out. I do think it will. Like I said I think the tight packaging was the problem behind the smell I, personally like the way it arrived and prefer to have it packaged tightly. Hope this helps everyone to decide on the purchase of the item.

Useful but not as sturdy as I would have liked. The inside does not a slider to keep the bread together.

I like to make homemade bread and needed a way to keep it fresh longer. I searched for several containers but this one was the correct size for our bread box and because it is Tupperware I felt it would be well made. Like all Tupperware - it is durable and works great! My cinnamon bread stays fresh longer

Exactly what I need. The size is a little longer than the 9x5 loaf baking pan. The lid is exact and can be used as serving tray. The Tupperware I grew up with!

The dimensions on this product indicated that it was 4.5 inches wide, but I can't find a single dimension on this box that measures 4.5". I'll be keeping it for other uses, and it is a fine container with a nice seal otherwise. The listed dimensions just weren't accurate and because of that I won't be able to fit it inside the compartment I wanted.
