Tried several different charger brands for my collection of toughbook CF-30 laptops. This one works best, though it melts if you let it get too hot, keep the thing ventilated. It's cheap construction quality, but it's got the right end that fits snugly into the CF-30, while some other brands do not have the right tip even though they say they are for the CF-30.

I bought this for a CF-33 because the Panasonic charger for the CF-33 is also used many of the others listed. i.e. CF-19 etc.The problem, as another CF-19 user note, is the rubber molding on the plug is to big an won't let you fully insert the connector into the unit. Rather than return it I spend 2 minutes with a utility knife and shaved it down so it could be fully inserted. Seems to work fine after that modification.

This ac adapter is more light weight than the OEM chargers. It came wuick and in good packaging. Unboxed and plugged it into my CF31 toughbook and used to charged on and off for two days. So far no issues. Charged battery and did not notice any extra heat from the ac unit.

I recently ordered and received this AC adapter for my Panasonic Toughbook laptop. I could not be more pleased. The plug into the computer fit very snugly. When I initially plugged it in,the adapter got pretty warm,was worried, but soon realized it was charging a dead computer.Once the computer was charged, it cooled down. I have had this charger for about a month, plugged in constantly...no problems. I would recommend this product to anyone.... ( I think the cords are longer than on the original)I paid full price...no discount

Well, it's working so far...after trying harder than I needed to in order for it to fit. It is VERY hot though. We'll see how long it lasts.

Does its job overall. Charges fine but gets a little warm. Good value for product

They break easily. We use our tough books as tough books. These can not stand up to the abuse at all. They work if the tough book doesnt move and the wire never moves. However, if you are using a tough book in the rear of a truck then move it to the front of the truck... expect these cables to last maybe a month or two.

Just what I needed at a great price. Not much to Pro/Con here. It works for our service's CF-30 Panasonic Toughbooks. They have held up well, much better than the higher priced PWR Chargers that our main station purchased. I wish they offered a 12v charger at this price!
