I was really excited when my book arrived, it added some spice and feel to it that most of text is japanese! But music is universal and notation and tablature is fully undestandable. There is added CD and lot of pictures so language is not a major problem.I ordered the book because of Garam Jeon, I found her videos from youtube by chance. So thank you, Garam, I'm so happy!As I'm beginner ukulele player, arrangements are not easy, but manageable. I'm going to have so much fun with this book!

At first I fell in love of Garam Jeon playing these arrangements on YouTube.It is a very nice mix of hot Brazilian tunes and rhythms with cool Japanese meditative style.Got my book today and absolutely happy about it.It is not cheap but worth every penny.The joy is priceless.

This book of Ukulele Tablature by Kiyoshi Kobayashi is complex enough to be interesting and challenging, but playable enough for my less than nimble 57 year old fingers. It is published for the Japanese consumer, so you will need to download a translator to pencil-in the song titles, but It’s not strictly necessary. The included CD of the songs performed by the master really helps for learning the rhythm.

The only problem with this book is that no all the songs have an English translation for the title, unlike Kiyoshi Kobayashi's Ukulele Jazz book.

I love that this comes with a cd as well. You don't need to know japanese because the song names are in english as well. Great song choices. Would highly reccommend to anyone who wants to play jazz and bossa nova on their ukulele

I love this book because it's hard to find any bossa nova songbooks for ukulele, great arrangements in standard and tab.In Japanese but the tabs and music is not hard to read if you have some experience reading them,going to buy the authors jazz book next

キヨシ小林さんのアレンジはオリジナル曲をチープにする事なく、雰囲気を最大限に引き出してくれてます。簡単過ぎず、難し過ぎないので、レパートリーを増やしたい方にはオススメです。

CDが付いていたが、自分の思い込みでDVDだと思って買ってしまった。今の私のレベルでは、まだ難しかったので、もっと練習してからでした、ががんばります。

弾いてみたいなと思っていた曲が沢山あったので購入しました。指の押さえは難しくないのですが、ボサノバのリズムって体で覚えるものなんでしょうか、かなり苦戦しております。お手本のCD聞いてこれからも頑張ってみようと思っています。

A fine assortment of songs in bossa nova style. If you're looking for lovely arrangements for ukulele, this is a great choice.

所有しているウクレレ用ボサノバ楽譜のなかでは、最も簡単アレンジの楽譜だと思います。１弦〜3弦までで弾ける曲も多数あります。カニさん指でボサノバを楽しみましょう！「イパネマの娘」と「くじら山ボッサ」の２曲は伴奏用の楽譜も掲載されており、アンサンブルにも活用できます。ただ、スタンダードなボサノバ曲で全曲構成するのは無理だったようで、後半の曲にやや付け足し感があるのが残念です。それで☆１つマイナスです。ボサノバＪＰＯＰなら、丸山圭子の「どうぞこのまま」や八神純子の「思い出は美しすぎて」、中村雅俊の「恋人も濡れる街角」などいろいろあるので、後半はそちらに展開されても良かったのでは？自分でアレンジしてＴＡＢ譜化するしかないか！（⇒それができれば苦労しない！）キヨシ小林氏の次に出版される楽譜のテーマが、何か想像してしまいます。ウクレレグループサウンズとかも面白いと思います。
