Super soft, tons of cool detail and it is actually black. Like in my title, i have a big head and this fits. Perhaps a little spendy, but totally worth it becsuseit fits and will wear because it does! Shipped fast i think it came a day early. Totally happy with this purchase! :)

I found the quality to be very good, the fit was great and it’s secured with a good strap. They could center the holes for the buckle a little better but it’s not a problem as it is.

OMG, just gorgeous, adjustable, leather aviator cap. Suede leather lined inside, smooth, blk. nappa leather outside. Ordered size Sm for 21" circumference=fit a bit small, but was very impressed w/quality & ordered sz. medium🤞(returning sz. sm.). I'll update on fit of medium.Zip-open ear openings. Adjustablee around neck, face, chin, & sides = form-fitting, & snug if needed. What a bargain @ mere $30 for premium quality leather aviator cap. Expect warm head this winter. I stand by my original review; BUT must add the following:My head circumference is exactly 21"(inches). I initially ordered size SM, turned out to be to small. Then ordered size MED, which turned out to be to small as well. In desperation I ordered the largest size offered, XXL, it was also too small. *In frustration I ordered leather aviator cap from a different company, Historical Emporium, perfect fit.*So, I ended up ordering all the sizes in attempts to find the proper fitting aviator cap. Unfortunately, the SM & MED were all too small, ordered XXL, which just didn't 'sit right' on my head(felt a bit too small, but do-able). Quality is primo, I wish there was a XXXL!

Looks nice, fits good, cap itself is decent quality. I deducted one star because I will have to get a different chin strap sewn on mine. Might just be a fluke on this one but material is thin and the holes were mis-punched too close to one edge. After one day it's looking like the strap is going to break next time I try to buckle it.

Strangely shaped , big in back of head ( egg shaped) . Straps not sewn straight. Flimsy buckles. More of a costume piece than something you would wear to keep your head warm (Halloween?) If you want a quality piece of headgear look elsewhere.

What a GREAT CAP! Outstanding craftmanship, well finished, EVEN on the inside, Fits like a glove. Real leather, strong stitching and a LOT of attention to detail. MED. Fit me perfectly right down to the chin strap. ZIPPERS ENEN WORK by the ears and all metal material is chromed, nice and shiny. Great value for the money, shipped REALLY fast and was well packaged...you don't want REAL leather to get wet. Arrived perfectly. I'll be buying more of my "Vintage" gear here. These guy's hit it out of the park on this one. 5 stars...(Note: "Goggles" "Scarf" and Biplane, not included)

I got the XXL size and glad I did as they do run small like all comments mentioned. This is a great product though. It is so stylish and the craftsmanship is stellar. Highly recommend. For the record, I wear a size Small/Medium motorcycle helmet (ladies) and the XXL fit just right. That should tell you how small it is.If it fits you then it is a fun piece to add to your wardrobe.

I ordered the XXL (my hat size is a 61/62 or 7 5/8) and found the aviators cap to be a good fit. The leather is supple and comfortable to wear. I paired it with some googles for the Biggles effect. Seems well made.
