This is a very helpful book. It's a great source for people interested in pathophysiology and learning how diseases occur in the body, how to treat it and what causes it. I absolutely recommend it for everyone and for all people in health field.

I needed this book for my pathophysiology class. I have been reading it throughout the semester without a problem. Now, as I near finals week, I turn the page - Chp 45, p.1146 - and the next page is Chap 39, p. 1003. After page 1018, the book returns to Chp 46, p. 1163. I am missing 15 pages of text that is mandatory reading. It is of course past a return date, but surely other textbooks had this error. I am going to try and contact the book's publisher.UPDATE: Contacted the publisher and they sent me a new book free-of-charge without any hassles. THANK YOU to Amazon and Wolters Kluwer Customer Service.

Book was in excellent condition when I rented it used. The book was pretty good about it's organization though a lot of it was very technically worded when a simple explanation could have easily fit. The sentences tended to run on way too long, but there was good information.

There is nothing wrong with this book, good condition. But I found someone's baby sonogram pictures inside from August 2020. If you rented this book and can't find your sonogram pictures they are not lost! I am happy to connect with someone to return them to you.

This textbook is useless. I wanted to return it, but I forgot for a second and accidentally highlighted a few sentences. I am currently a 4.0 student, and this material was hard to digest. I gave up reading the text. The author(s) don't give enough introductory details for the topic material. Also the author(s) appear to assume the students have some clinical experience/knowledge, which I don't. So a lot of the material was hard to understand. This book was designed for advanced nursing courses. I am not in the nurse program. They should take into consideration not all students have a clinical background. I got an A in the class, but that was only because we had to use Lippincott the Point quizzes and exams. So if you just memorize the quiz bank, you will do fine on the exam. Also the text is extremely dense. It has 40 plus chapters. They should just make this two textbooks and add more relevant background information. Also the textbook was flimsy. When I opened the textbook on the third or fourth read, before I gave up, the first few pages started falling out of the binding. If anyone has an easy to understand pathophysiology textbook recommendation, please leave me a comment. I need to review the material.

The textbook itself is great information and laid out very well. Easy to read/learn.However, the book was torn and beat up upon arrival, even though I ordered a "New" textbook. For the price, I'm very disappointed. Buy the book in person if you can, so you don't have to deal with dingy looking pages.

This is a recommended text for the course by the UNiversity. So, it is a very useful text for the Unit enrolled in Very detailed information and very helpful.
