ENU Nutrition Shakes - 20g Protein | 400 Calories - Meal Replacement for Weight Gain (Vanilla, Pack of 18)

UPDATE: Daughter is consuming 2 ENU a day, and beginning to eat a bit on the side (half banana, 1/4 pbj, etc).. and she has already gained 3.4 pounds in 3 days, weighed just this morning (01/31/2023)! I feel like she was slowly starving and drs couldn't do anything about it but prescribed horrible pills which did nothing to add to her caloric intake. ENU.. thank you! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Daughter has NSCL and is down to 89 pounds. My homemade smoothies aren't helping, can't keep the calorie count high enough, too filling, too thick and i can only get her to drink one throughout the day. ENU has only 8ozs rather then typical 12oz, which means she can finish it all at once (important!). The consistency is like regular chocolate milk (but we have the vanilla flavor), and texture goes down easily. I'm doing a happy dance that i have found this! UPDATE: NOT AVAILABLE??? Will search Ebay! BEST product for those with cachaxia to gain weight! Tasty, good ingredients, put weight on that stayed on!

The calories and taste are good, doctor recommended. But quite pricey. Needed for regain of health.

I love it. My dad loves it. It does help with weight gain only if you’re taking it along with regular meals. Otherwise you have to drink like 5 or 6 a day to get enough calories. My dad is diabetic & it doesn’t affect his sugar levels.

I was pleasantly surprised by what A good flavor This provided true vanilla taste and I like to play with that by adding food flavoring extracts so add variety like maple coconut rum etc

When looking for a nutritious, high calorie meal replacement product, I looked at offerings from Ensure, Boost, and ENU. ENU is the clear winner.Ensure (Enliv) is made from Corn syrup, Sugar, Milk Protein, Casein, and Canola oil. It contains artificial flavors.Boost (Very High Calorie) contains Glucose Syrup, Canola Oil, Casein, and Soy Protein. It also contains artificial flavors.ENU contains Rice Maltodextrin, Grass-fed Whey Protein, Tapioca Syrup plus Sunflower Oil and Brown Rice Milk Powder. It also contains Inulin, Coconut Oil, and is sweetened with Stevia. NO artificial flavors.It comes in either Chocolate or Vanilla flavors. Both taste good. Try them at room temperature, from the refrigerator, or over ice. It's interesting that the flavor slightly changes depending on the temperature of the product.Definitely recommend!

Don't know what the implications are, but the enu nutrition shakes has been sold from Trovita Health Science (a MN, USA start up in 2014) to Ajinomoto, a Japanese food company. The shake is being sold under the name of Cambrooke which you will now see on your shake container. I noticed a different taste with my last order and my reorder now has the Cambrooke name right on the front of the container which it never had before. I suspect the slightly new taste has something to do with the new processing plant. Just an FYI.The shakes have helped bring my body weight back to normal after a 20 pound weight loss due to the stress of health issues. So I have been a huge fan of this shake. Now, in light of the change of hands I probably won't order again.
