good quality
I'm very happy with my order of spelt. Nuff said.

Paid for a bag of bugs
This bag of spelt berries is non refundable and non returnable. Bag full of bugs. Wasted money. I do understand a couple of bugs but too many in this.

The Best!
I just love these spelt kernals! I grind them up to make my own flour. It makes the most delicious, textured, bread I have ever made. And I have baked a lot over the years. This is my third purchase of a 25 pound bag and I will continue to buy it as long as it’s available! Thank you so much for a consistent and delicious product!

Wholesome Ancient Grain
These spelt berries arrived quickly and were packaged well. The berries themselves appear fresh, were very clean and debris free. I haven't baked bread with them yet because they are still in my freezer to take care of any critter that might be lurking. I will store them in plastic bags inside a food grade bucket for long term storage. I have used enough wheat berries to be fairly confident that these spelt berries will yield a delicious loaf of bread.

Excellent and clean spelt
Excellent product, received as described and promptly emptied the bag into a 5-gallon bucket for storage. No contaminants or bugs were seen while transferring the contents. I have ground and used the grains for bread and pancakes with good results.

Bugs
I ordered a 25 lb bag 4 weeks ago. It is crawling with black bugs and now I have to throw it out. It was stored in a cool dark room in an airtight container. They have not responded to my email.

Organic - glad to have it
Purity Foods pioneered the introduction of spelt back into the USA. I am glad after they were purchased that they continue to offer a wonderful product.

Stored in 5 gal food safe bucket for 3 months and full of bugs
Unfortunately, just got to use a small amount of this. I don’t bake over the summer and bought it in May, so by the time the weather cooled enough, it was full of bugs. I’ve never had bugs in any of my grains in the house before or in my other grains. I assumed the eggs were there from the beginning. Next time, I’ll freeze before storing, but I didn’t know.
