I don't usually write in depth reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by this purchase.I knew it would require assembly so I was hesitant about the purchase. However, this might be the best furniture assembly, instruction and finished product I've experienced.From receiving the package, delivered quickly and on time to the actual packaging, was great.I would have been surprised if any parts were damaged in tow because it was extremely well packaged and protected. There were reinforced outer layers on each edge of the box that the product came in.Once I opened the box, which took time to get opened, there were firm styrofoam pieces in every nook and cranny to prevent sliding of pieces.Each piece was labeled either with sticker or written on edge. Either way, the instructions were clear about what to expect for labeling.All pieces were in tact. I could have built ther entire thing alone until the very end where the instructions actually noted you would need an extra hand. However, my husband and I enjoyed working together to complete this project. It took a short amount of time, less than 2 hours (didn't really time it and we worked slowly).I LOVE this finished product. It works perfectly and looks BEAUTIFUL. It's looks exactly as pictured!Best value purchase!

We bought this to finish off a basement TV room with matching Cannery Bridge side tables and the wall unit (bookcase). Like the other Sauder furniture we've purchased over the years, this item is a good quality product at a reasonable price.It arrived in one box - a rather heavy box, but not so heavy that this old guy couldn't carry it inside. Assembly was quick and easy because Sauder provides clear instructions and all the parts fit together as expected. The finished product is attractive and very functional. The lift-top feature is easy to raise and lower (although it takes two hands) and it's very handy when you're snacking in front of the TV. We're very pleased with the purchase.

It took a full movie length of time to assemble. You need another person to help assembly with one of the steps. There were a lot of parts but the instructions were very easy to follow. It was just very time consuming and some part were very difficult to put together, not confusing just physically difficult.The edges are very sharp. I have scratched myself several times, I ended up putting a table cloth on it so my kids don’t get hurt. (I did order corner guards) My daughter got a bad cut from her cheek up to her eye.The lift top part is nice! It glides nicely, it does take a little umph to lift, which I like because my two toddlers cant lift it. Mine doesn’t close all the way... I did follow all instructions. So I don’t know if it was designed that way.The design quality is what your paying for. Cheaper than the real thing but looks great at a glance!

It's great, super sturdy, easy to put together, and resistant to spills (coasters not needed). But the screws on the top hinges can get a little loose if you're lifting the top a lot, I would recommend glueing them.After a few months use I've noticed the bottom screws have broken through the bottom plank. I think it's from us resting our feet on it, since it's only happening on the side facing the couch. I'm not going to change my rating since its damage caused by us and really doesnt affect anything but the look.

At first, I was worried about this table as I’ve never heard of the brand, and I knew that a lot of Amazon furniture has to be assembled at home with a lot of small parts. I’m a petite 24 year old woman and I was able to easily assemble the whole thing in a little over an hour (except for the very last part, which is assembling the pop up top. The directions state you need someone to help stabilize it, which is very true). The directions were typed very clearly, and had an option to go to a video in case you get confused but I didn’t find that necessary. The screws and other parts are packaged and labeled clearly. The finished product is completely sturdy, and it does not look cheap at all. I’m not positive if cold drinks can be placed on the surface, but it does seem to have some sort of finish. The pop up works perfectly, but you do have to press down firmly to allow it to settle back in to place.

My husband and I purchased this coffee table a few months ago and have absolutely loved it. Perfectly stylish yet practical at the same time. About a week ago my husband had his feet on the bottom part of the table and was readjusting himself on the couch and the bottom piece completely broke through the connecting pieces. It was 100% our fault and we called Sauder to see if we could purchase a replacement piece, they gave it to us completely free even though it wasn’t there fault at all. Amazing company! Would definitely recommend and purchase from them again.

Probably more of a 3.5 than a 3. Had this for 3 years and overall enjoyed it. However I felt it could have been stronger. The bottom shelf only lasted a year before it came undone. The screws on the side holding it also got quite wobbly. Currently looking to replace it.It's a great budget table though and the raiser is great feature. You get quite a bit of room inside of it as well.

I was worried after reading some of the reviews about this table but I thought it was worth the risk to buy it and try it because I loved the color and the extra storage. The negative reviews about this table are definitely wrong. The table took my boyfriend and his brother about a 30 hour to assemble, the directions were clear, and it was fairly easy for them. The table is a beautiful blue grey color which matches the picture and opening top is easy to use, and sturdy. You just have to grab both sides to lift it so it lifts easily and when putting it down it doesn’t even slam at all. The inside storage is enough to fit 2 blankets, all of coasters, gaming remotes, and still has much room left

Great easy to follow instructions for assembly, didn't make me want to kill my spouse while trying to put it together and it seems really sturdy

It only took me two weeks, but I was determined to put this table together without my husbands help. This coffee table really matches my space and the pop up top doubles as a workspace. While it looks lovely, arrived very promptly and I could put it together myself, I worry that the the particle board won’t hold up over time. Still good value for the price.

Great product, looks good in the modern rustic style, photos are a little deceiving colour wise, but overall I got what I wanted!
