the skeleton itself and the candle stick are really nicely made. the frame and the background board are very rustic and made of inexpensive materials, so I might jazz it up a bit in the future, but I knew that before I bought it

The media could not be loaded.  This is a really nice item. Expensive but you get the quality you are paying for. Definitely not your run of the mill plastic Halloween decoration. This company makes anatomical medical models and that’s the quality level the skeleton is. Everything is securely bolted together, and all the individual bones down to the fingers are fully articulated and individually attached. The hands realistically grasp the candlestick. I think another reviewer said their skeleton was stark white but mine has an aged patina on it. I included some close ups for detail. Definitely a quality item that will stand the test of time. It was the hit of my Halloween party! One constructive Criticism is that I wish the frame looked more ornate or antique. It’s kind of plain. But it’s probably going to be mostly viewed in dim lighting and the skeleton is the star of the show!

This is a wonderful piece. The quality is something I'll be able to pass down to the next generation. It does have some wires and screws holding it all together but it just adds so much character to the whole piece. This has now become one of my family's favorites.
