Essential Moisture Plus Vaginal Cream

I had such hopes that this product was going to be just the thing for my post menopausal atrophy but sadly, it was not.5/9/17, I applied it as suggested and within seconds I started to get a warm feeling where it was applied. As seconds went by, it got worse and worse until after about 10 seconds, it stopped getting warmer. Things seemed fine for about 15-20 mins then the burn started. OH THE BURN...I waited for about 30-40 mins to see if it would pass but no, it was stinging and burning and I washed it off. Sadly, I was in pain for the next 24 hours and finally it's subsiding after I used Aloe Vera Gel on the area. Today (5/11/17) the pain is about 30% still.I suspect it is the Phenoxyethonal. I looked it up and found many references to it being a skin irritant and can cause contact dermatitis. Here is just one reference I found: (From Truth in Aging website..though many many pages also came up about it) "Studies have shown that Phenoxyethanol can be an extreme irritant to the eyes and skin, and can even cause blistering; it is hazardous in the case of ingestion and inhalation as well."

This cream does provide a temporary cooling sensation which alleviates itching. But after about 30 minutes, the effect is gone and ;you have to reapply. The instructions call for applying about 1/4 tsp. which doesn't sound like a lot but is and messy as well. You have to use a pad with it to keep your panties clean.

Using this cream daily has helped with the vaginal dryness and painful intercourse I was experiencing. It is a safe alternative to the cream you see advertised on TV for vaginal dryness that is manufactured by the pharmaceuticals and is associated with increased risk of breast cancer . I am pleased with this cream, and the price isn't outrageously high. I recommend giving it a try for a few months.

This product gives good moisture

I am 62 and my vaginal walls are thinning causing pain during intercourse. This product is applied directly inside and I have found wonderful results by just following the instructions. My doctor was going to put me on RX strength estrogen crème and of course this has cancer warnings. This product is definitely worth the money..

Just OK.

I have been using EMP Vaginal Cream almost daily for over a year. No more problem with vaginal dryness and uncomfortable intercourse. Arousal and sensitivity has increased tremendously as well as general discomfort in the vaginal area is no longer an issue. I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from vaginal discomfort, whether sexually active or not.

This product works OK. Not as good as some others I have purchased.
