Very useful!
I’ve had a couple of PSU cables lying around and I needed one to run from the under my desk to the top, where I will be plugging a 30 watt USB charger for my iPhone. I could’ve bought a longer lightning cable but why spend needlessly when I already had another way. I just thought, if such an adapter exists then Amazon must have it.

Nice compact size
After years of working in data centers and always trying to find an outlet to plug in my laptop, I finally looked for an adapter that woulf plug into the C14 outlets of the rack power strips. I saw several that had 12 inch cables or so, but then found this one. It is perfect for keeping in my laptop bag and has so far worked wonderfully. Now I just wonder why it took me so long to get one.

smaller than most other solutions - fits in your travel bag easily for your trip to the data center
ever get to the data center and your laptop needs to be plugged in - but the PDU has it's own type of electrical connector? - this solves that issue and is the smallest that I could find - and is fairly cheap

I bought this with some other items in the same Amazon order, but it's so small I accidentally threw it away with the box (awesome, I know). So I can't really write a meaningful review, since I never used it; but based on the picture, it seems nice. I mean, how could they get something like this wrong? I'm going to go with my gut feeling here and give it a 4 star rating.Final thoughts: Works best if you don't throw it in the trash on accident.

Allows me to extend audio+power snakes
This little gadget is exactly what I needed to extend an audio+power snake for a powered speaker on a sound reinforcement system. It also holds the two snakes together perfectly when rolled onto a cable reel. Great little gadget at a very fair price.

Works great with a Y-cable to make a power splitter for portable video streaming in hotel rooms
Combine this item with a dual NEMA 5/15R splitter (like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KWTT046 ), and you have a very handy power splitter to use your streaming stick - such as a Roku or Amazon device - in a hotel room, using the TV set's existing power cord.Yes, you could plug into the hotel room TV's USB port, but the problem there is, usually the TV's USB port gets powered down when the TV turns off. This means when you power it back on, your streaming device gets reset, which sometimes means having to go through the hassle of re-connecting it to WiFi.

Works great and was a cheap alternative to fishing new wire ...
My LG flat screen TV died and the new TV I purchased had a different power cord, not a big deal, however I had all the power and hdmi cables run into the wall so they would be concealed, this adapter turned my old power cord into an outlet that I could plug my new TV into and still have all the wires concealed. Works great and was a cheap alternative to fishing new wire or tearing out the drywall.

Awesome adapter
Very handy, I used this to plug in power to a wireless DMX receiver on my t-bar. Keeps the hydro easy to manage.
