What a great product this I am very happy with it with an easy fit with no need to cut water pipes it does what it says on the box.

Arrived quicker than expected - always a bonus. Looks fine and easy to fit. I'll revisit this when I see what the result is, because I expect it to take some time. We'll see! One small issue, there was no mention how it needed to be switched on in the description before buying. On switching on you have to push a button to set it at the correct size of pipe. OK, but we have quite frequent mini power outtages and that means it'll have be redone every time. We'll see if this becomes onerous, but it might have raised a question mark when deciding whether or not to buy.Edit: well the power outage issue has turned out not to be a problem. On restart it continues at the previous setting. Great! But on the more elementary question of whether it works or not... bit of a curate’s egg. There has definitely been no miraculous disappearance of existing scale, but that was always a forlorn hope! On cleaned surfaces (wc bowl, basin) there appears to be less buildup, and any that does appear seems easier to remove.EDIT 2 after another two months. There is definitely less buildup on clean surfaces and what does appear is considerably easier to remove.

It took me long time to study information’s about magnets , water softeners and electric softeners.The good news is … I found the winner and it is ultimate option for everyone.Based on scientific discoveries. Magnets usually are too small and not enough strong to make sufficient change to calcium structure. That is why reviews are divided between.Water softeners using salt are expensive , plus cost of additional charge for salt which you need to refill, extra work to do maintenance, change water taste (some people like it some don’t) and most important not environmentally friendly.I would say completely wrong idea to go with.So why this electric device is a good option?I found that you won’t be able remove completely white marks of calcium but it makes it softer and really easy to remove. You dont have to use chemicals and this is game changer for people owning black finished armature.Most important … it is environmentally friendly and don’t need maintenance. Just fit cables , turn it and you done. Worth to mention that cost of using it , it is very small and price is great.I can’t comment as yet on difference related to devices like washing machines or dishwasher as yet. But skin is less itchy after bath (keep in mind that I installed device couple of weeks ago, I guess systems still is not completely clear).I hope this helps someone.

We live in a very hard water area, so thought I would give this a try based on the positive results.It was easy to fit, our incoming water feed is in 15mm copper so simply wrapped the wires as per instructions then selected 15mm on the unit, job done.I have had this now for around 4 months, and I can honestly say I’ve not really noticed any difference in the amount of viable limescale.Maybe shower screens etc have less on them if not wiped down, but like I’ve said not very noticeable.If it is doing something then I suppose it’s a bonus 🤷🏻‍♂️

Like a lot of these type of products it is difficult to prove it is working or not. It seems to work. It was easy and quick to install.

Hasn't made the slightest bit of difference, I had high hopes but has been an expensive waste of money.

Having used this for a little time now I’m happy to say it is doing the job of preventing scale in our pipes. Good seller.

Sadly had to return as it had a fixed plug and could not pass the wire to the socket.Therefore cannot comment.Got a refund no problem.
