The fan arrived today, and it is a beast. It's a small fan, but very heavy, and the hot-dipped galvanizing is very thick. I am quite pleased at the quality so-far. I have not wired it yet so I haven't tested it yet. I will be using it in my greenhouse on the YouTube channel Planet Mojo, so you will be able to see it in action there.I would have given this five stars easily, but the fan literally stinks. A horrible smell came out of the box when I opened it, and the fan was incredibly dusty -- very thick dust. I don't think either of those things will effect performance, but that will be evident on my channel when I wire the cord and try it out.

This is my second fan. Last one lasted a good 12 years andwas still running when replaced. Previous was the non galvanized version placed in a greenhouse high humidity and some weather. The guard eventually rusted and became cosmetically unappealing so i replaced with the galvanized version. The product quality is what I’d experienced on my last fan with some improvements I noticed. The connection box was much better sealed than. Previous version. The unit pushes plenty of air actually in some cases may be to much depending on how it’s mounted so would as recommend the variable speed controller so you have options for output depending on your installation. I would definitely recommend this product for a good quality circulation fan.

Both $2600 worth of fans to use in stalls. we knew the mounting would suck because on top of the $200 per fan if you want their mounting bracket it is another $6 per fan. What was not specified was that the wiring is not attached to the fan. There is a cord with 3 wires - white back and a green ground. Once you take the housing apart it has a white, black and red wire. The instructions recommend an electrician wire in your fans - what a bunch of bull for this price. What do you think that will run? about another $600 for the 12 fans I purchased?

Good quality. Quiet. Used in greenhouse reliable replaces 10 year old model. Runs 24/7 for 8 months recommend galvanized cage as standard metal painted cage rusts under the wet high humidity conditions.
