Product Description Josef Meier was a 19th century Innkeeper in Bavarian folklore, the proprietor of the Goat's Head Inn, set amongst the black forests of southern Germany. He is said to be one of the original distillers of Krauter Likor, using a secret recipe of herbs from the surrounding land.Josef Meier's is produced at one of the oldest distilleries in Germany, established in 1853. A secret blend of herbs, spices, woods and roots are macerated, distilled into individual liqueurs, then blended together to create the finished product.
