Not only for the grill which they are wonderful for, but also on patio table at night. Magnetic and sticks to any metal surface. A must have for grilling at night in the dark! Flexible neck so you can get the light shining exactly where you want it and also has a lantern mode. Great case they come it keeps them safely hung in the closet for easy access any time we need them. We do not leave them outside while they are not in use. Could easily be used anyway you need a little extra light for crafts, projects. Etc. only down fall that I can think of if it is one is that you have to go thru every mode to shut them off which is not a big deal at all. Small but powerful“Why didn’t we get these sooner?!?!”

I bought these primarily for use around my smoker, as it sits off to the side away from our built-in patio lighting. I was able to use these lights this past weekend with great results...both for their lighting & my smoking. The flexible gooseneck was great for getting spot lighting just where I needed it, and the side lights were awesome for their ability to flood light across the grill surface. I can definitely see the benefit in using them while working on (or under) a car, truck, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, etc. I give them bonus points for being tooled to support both AAA & 18650 batteries. I use the latter for some other LED lights, and they are a great, rechargeable power source.

They didn't come with instructions, so figuring out the zoom feature took a couple minutes. They pull/push, not twist.The light head gets HOT in seconds, LED's are not supposed to get hot!I don't like the cheap battery compartment. I'd be willing to spend more on a rechargeable, or even a C-cell, rather than the 3-AAA battery mess that these come with. Using small/stacked batteries makes the lights weaker then one larger, strong battery.The switch allowed the head OR the body to light up, but not both at once. They should allow both to run at the same time, but that probably isn't possible considering the weak battery arrangement.The magnet is strong enough for its purpose; not so strong that moving them is a struggle.Alright, so... even with all the nitpicking above, I like them enough to keep them, and possibly buy another (probably a different brand of the same style, hopefully made better) as a gift.

First off while the case is fairly flimsy, the lights are decent quality. They feel substantial and solid; the magnets are quite strong and hold well. the light output is clean and white. The flexible head beam is adjustable. The lights run off 3 AAA batteries or the battery holder can be removed the a 18650 battery used instead. The only downsides I've found is that the LED on the head and the body can't be used at the same time. And since there's only one button you have to cycle through hi and low settings of both lights; which gets tedious.

Order contained two BBQ lights. I got them both out, installed batteries and they worked perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Then I showed them to my wife and told her how cool there were, but the switch on the first light failed to work? I opened it, wiggled wires etc and unexpectedly it began working again. So, not sure just yet. If the switch works, I love them, it not...then not so much.

The lights are bright but not super bright. Not a fan of the ultra white cold white light. This is the warmer version. I think it makes the food more natural. Using it for the outdoor grilling. The magnet is reasonably strong. Wish the wand to be a bit longer for reach. Usually cook low and slow so Lid is closed most of the time.

They are great grill lights. I don't k ow the lums. But I love how it lights up. They even came with a 2 extra metal plate you can stick to the grill to magnetic. Plus it did come with 2 of the AAA battery to run it and 2 of the clear sleeve for the 18650 battery. The case holds them in very well

We kept these out of the rain, only got to use them a couple of times as they quit working on the 3rd use.Our Pitboss grill is kept on the carport against our home, and these were kept on the side shelf of the Pitbosss, they were not exposed to the weather.

Surprisingly good for the money .
