Tai Chi Uniform (Clothing) - Black, White and Red

Very pleased. Well made, well fitted, looks good, feels good. I purchased this uniform to practice Tai Chi at home and it is loose enough to allow total freedom of movement, and the material is slippery enough that there is no binding or catching when arms or legs are stretched into some of the positions required by Tai Chi. Short of a uniform made of pure silk, which would undoubtedly be a great deal more expensive, this is the one to go with in my opinion. I ordered the size that I expected to fit my body and it fit exactly as I expected. I would definitely buy this uniform again if I ever needed another one. In fact, I may buy a second one now in case they ever become unavailable, so I know I have a spare.

While watching a Karate movie with my husband, he told me he thought the outfit was pretty cool looking, So I bought him one.It came in very quickly. It is very light weight. My husband likes to wear this as a lounging outfit. He says it's very comfortable. I would recommend this.

I got this for my Tai Chi excersize and I really do like it.It is extremely comfortable with a perfect material and fits well (I got a large and am 5'7" 180 LBS).The only thing I didn't care for was the arm cuffs using the rope clasp instead of doing a traditional folded cuff style but that is just more of a personal annoyance rather than any fault of the company.I am going to be ordering a black one as well now that I know they are worth the money.

I found this to be of rather poor quality and it ran rather small. Since I have lost weight and hope to lose more, I think I might be able to eventually use it. The price was low, and you get what you pay for, clearly, but it wasn't worth it to me to ship it back. Had the price been higher, the number of stars would have been less.

Two most important factors, design and comfort.I needed the uniform for demo purposes. Prior to I wore it while practicing for over an hour. Can't get over the nice feel while executing the movements of Tai Chi. It feels that the beauty of each form was intensified with the uniform.To all Tai Chi devotees always use traditional uniforms for practice and demo. This one is a must have.

After my Tai Chi Chih Teacher told me about Tai Chi Shoes, I noticed the uniforms at Amazon. Well looking at the pictures for advertising I knew right away I would at least try a uniform. Ordered the white for summer since some practices occur outside. When I received them, I checked out the quality of garments, nicely sewn together, great elastics, extra room between legs for getting low whilst having legs spread. First practice I did was wonderful. No more pants riding up on legs or pulling pants up as they tended to ride down, I actually enjoyed the freedom of the Tai Chi Uniform. Pants stayed in place no matter what I did, SUPER. I seem to sweat less with the satin and loose fit of clothing throughout practices. It will take a little getting use to the "buttons" on shirt, I usually wear western shirts with snaps. For the money a person can not go wrong, I will be ordering other uniforms later for back ups and color options.

The sizing chart is rather accurate, me being 5'6" and 145lbs I'm on the small side of the sizing chart for the one I bought, but not by much. On the wrist, the frog buttons that make the snug fit really make it one of my favorite features. The only small issue I have is that, as a Chinese Kenpo practitioner, I have to have the pants high up on my belly to avoid any tears that might occur if I wear it on my waist. Thankfully, the satin pants are elastic at the waist, and you can tighten it up with the strings.

The uniform fit as expected. I ordered one size larger than I usually wear, having had experience with Tai Chi uniforms from other companies in the past, they run about a size smaller than you would expect. It fits fine, but is made of MUCH lighter material than the ones I had from Century Martial Arts. I would not want to wear this current one in winter, but it should be fine for summer here in MO where it is hot and humid. Overall a good uniform for the money, but not great.
