The Hotlogic Mini is a good idea and works decently but it takes much longer to actually heat up food. It is easy to use, just put the food container inside, zip it up and plug in. However the design needs some upgrades if possible. The heating element takes alittle while to heat up and the zip cover needs better insulation to keep the heat in. Would get 5 stars if it heated up faster, held heat better and actually heated up the food within an hr.

It's compact easy to carry on a bag and highly efficient I use pyrex bowls and It got really warm very happy with my purchase. Totally recommend it if like me they don't have a microwave at your job or your just a nomad.

This is a replacement for my original one that I had for 10 plus years. The cord finally failed. I 100% recommend this for anyone who travels or anyone who wants warmed up food but hates how a microwave can over cook your food. Great for hotels that dont have microwaves in room and you dont want to leave the room. Fridge temp food takes about an hour, frozen food takes about 2 hours. You can uses any type of container from glass to plastic. Only containers I have had issue would be the really thin cheap containers from restaurants or deli departments. Store brand containers work just fine.

I will tell you frozen dinners taste so much better from the mini oven than the micro wave! They come out smoother and better tasting... Which has already paid for itself at first I thought the price was too high. The straw that broke me down was when I was in a workshop and the one micro wave that was there went out after a person had used it and left me having to eat cold food!!! I said never again, as soon as I made it home I ordered this and the on the go cereal bowl and salad unit! Working for someone else is hard as it is!!! So I said never again will I be in a position that I have to eat cold food or use a nasty micro wave that is unhealthy!!! Or pay for nasty food, that may not have even been prepared correctly! So far this unit has paid for its self, I have ate chicken, and rice, spaghetti, soups, sausage green bean potatoes, and many more! I cook in my bigger crock pots so dinner is done when I arrive home, so I take a portion of that meal and place it in the glass Pyrex ware for my lunch for the next day and what a pleasant treat for me knowing I have healthy food warming and in a clean unit!!! Someone told me that it smelled good in my work space I just said thanks because I did not want them running and telling, you know how some people can mess things up for others. (Yes, that is the type of work environment I currently have) So this unit makes my day pleasant knowing I have a great lunch waiting for me!!! I am so happy with this unit that I plan to purchase an adapter for our suv so that if I need to heat food up in the suv I can if I am out in workshops and there are no plugs etc (things do happen). I highly recommend this unit! For me it blesses my day because it gives me more time to also read my bible during my lunch instead of waiting in line to purchase food or heat my food. I make sure I always have something to heat in my portable oven even if it is just a can of soup! I refuse to go back to the micro wave or cafeteria! I'm so happy that I found this finally. Quality, size, performance, everything with HotLogic mini is great. It is engineered obviously and is not a cheap product. I use it in my car, so I use a regular inverter (180W, I think!) and it works well. It warms up my food in 1.5hrs. I want to help this product to sell, so feel free to ask any questions:) By the way the delivery was really fast:) thumbs up to the seller.

My husband is a long haul truck driver and his new company truck has no room for his microwave. I bought this and it works perfectly. He can heat up all kinds of frozen meals right in the cardboard box they come in or meals that I cook for him that are just in plastic containers. The frozen meals take about 2 hours but he just plugs it in afew hours before he wants to eat and it stays warm if he isn't ready to eat it. Does not overcook things. Its great because you can use any make of container in it, whether its glass or plastic, cardboard or foil. He hasn't cooked anything in it yet that wasn't already cooked except eggs which works really well too. Just beat a couple of eggs and threw some onions and peppers in a plastic container with the lid and left it overnight and he had an omelet ready for him in the morning.

Works great especially for airline crew that are sick of eating in restaurants. Heats food up excellent and so small to pack. Would recommend this to anyone.
