The right way of management
In times like today, it is very important to utilize all recourses in your company to make progress. The empowerment and involvement of all levels including shop floor is the key to be successful. I had the opportunity to join a journey like described in the book 3 times and I had the joy to lead 2 of these processes. If people take ownership and the processes are transparent, you can manage and lead people in the right direction and they will you lead in the right direction.I think this book is a must for everybody who is involved in a change process.Markus VockLean specialist

You don’t know Lean until you’ve read this.
This book starts with the foundation of Lean, respect for people, and builds the entire operating philosophy of Lean from there. This is my favorite and go to book for managing a Lean company.

I had to grow up to understand....
It may sound unlikely, but ... I worked in the company which had implemented the NSFM! Unfortunately:1. NSFM has detoriated now, and it is never more the NSFM company.2. I understand what NSFM is all about after 3 years since I left this NSFM company. Now I try to implement NSFM based on this book. The book is very helpful unless to change people mind is long-term work (for years not months, esp. when you are mid-manager, so you have to work in both direction - towards top exec. and down).Worth reading, understanding and implementing.... (togehter with lean manufacturing).

My Other Bible
The title to this review should be enough for you to understand. This book is more than what shop floor management is about, it goes deep into why and how with illustrative examples, explanations, checklists, guides, etc. A great, great book. I use the appendices often to prep and refresh my memory prior to doing a genba walk. Everything in this book is very, very relevant to almost any situation I can think of. I have bought multiple copies and given them away to those that I think will use it.

Great book!!
Great management book with a focus on implementing Lean into all aspects of any job. I work in healthcare and this was recommended at a healthcare lean training event. Very helpful for the broader topic of lean in general and I can pull out what I need for healthcare. Great price!! (I bought used).

A Must Have Foundation on Shop Floor Management
One of the core books every frontline leader should have and reference. Still relevant today in lean and six-sigma deployment.

Excellent book to learn about Shop Floor Management System
Excellent book! I bought first the Kindle version but all graphs and tables appeared distorted. The physical book looks great.

Excellent
This is probably the best production manual we have found. It spends little time in my desk or my hands these days - as someone else has always borrowed it to help with some production or people management problem that they are facing.
