Only half of them work.
First let me say that you need plumbing tape where you plug this in or it will leak from the area you plug in.I’m using these as seals so I shut them off all the way. The surprise I got was that half of them don’t seal off. Basically, you turn the cap all the way down and it still sprays in full power, not even a couple drips. This does sound as bad at first because you have 100 of them right? NO. Think about it, you install 40 of them, 20 of them don’t work, so you change the 20, then 10 out of those 20 don’t work, so you change 10, and so on. You’re easily doing the job at least 3 times. Going back to my first point where you need to put plumber tape on them. Wrapping plumbing tape on the piece and knowing there is a 50% chance of it not working is a slap to the face.Just to clarify, if you’re using it to use sprinkle, you won’t run into my problem, but you will likely still need plumbing tape.

Excellent for drip irrigation
EDIT: After 1 year I have gone back to reuse these and most of them have failed: either won't stop or won't start dripping, or the sun has dried them out enough that the tops have broken off and are shooting water out. Each morning a new one has broken and is shooting all the water out. So replace them each year, (at least the red screw on part) or upgrade. Still an excellent starter system for many purposes.Original:Using 20 of these on a single 1/4 inch line to water a row of corn. Simply adjust each to emit the equal amount and set it to run as needed.I put a timer on and placed a couple containers under a couple emitters to measure the GPH for my setup.Excellent cost effective solution for me.

OD of Barb is smaller that 0.25"
I bought these to create a drip irrigation system for an indoor herb garden. I bought the 100 pack of quarter inch (0.2500 inch) drip heads and a spool of quarter inch (ID 0.2500 inch) food grade tubing. With a digital caliper, I measured the outer dimension of 10 drip head barbs and it is smaller--average of 0.2349 inches. I repeated the same exercise with 10 measurements of the tubing (ID .2268 inches; OD .3954). While not different by much, the drip heads will leak. Vendors should provide ID and OD measurements and not just say 1/4" or 3/8".

Inconsistant Quality and Output
Some do not reduce flow at all when you turn them all the way down while adjusting/balancing. Some I had to take emitter cap off and poke base outlet with a paperclip to get acceptable flow. Most are different flow when they're the same number of clicks turned down while very close to one another on same supply line. Very inconsistent quality in manufacturing. You get what you pay for. Should have paid a little more for name brand that are quality and consistent which I've used in the past. Live and learn.

Great Price, But you get what you pay for.
The price is very attractive, so I decided to try them while setting up a new garden. I am now in the process of replacing them with pressure regulating drippers. In retrospect, I should have spent a bit more money on PSI regulating drippers. Some of these will not shut off. Worst, in a garden with a slope, the drippers at the lowest location "drain" away water from drippers at a higher elevation. This makes the lower section of my garden too wet, and the plants are drowning, while the plants at a slightly higher elevation are not getting enough water. I may find a use for these in limited applications, but they are coming out of my garden as quickly as I can replace them.

not reliable, bad QC
Installed a couple of dozen of these weeks ago, and found then that many would not close all the way new. Had to shut, blow into them as a test before installation. Now a number of those quit working (no water) after working initially. Some expensive decorative plants DIED. I have used similar from DIG before OK, but these are cheap copies, and fail. I have used drip system parts for years, and these are uniquely bad.

Some may not work properly.
Somewhat concerned that a number of these don't work properly. Even fully closed, there is no reduction of water flow. It appears that this isn't the case for every piece, but out of the fifteen (15) I've installed so far, approximately 4-5 do not work properly. I guess that's the risk when getting such a bargain price-- you get what you pay for. That being said, a person would have to be a certain kind of stupid to find any difficulty in installing these. Decent deal for the price.

Inexpensive and easy to use drip line
I am using this with a drip irrigation system that I started with rainbird. I got frustrated with the rainbird, because too much of it was a sprinkler (loosing water to the air). With these, its easy to pop a T on and run a drip out to exactly where I want to water. Also, I can easily tweak the amount of water to each plant. Happy with purchase.
