Q: Has anyone managed to get the mic working? mine will not. plugged into a hyperx usb soundcard used for the cloud 2 / x models (which works fine).

The Mic does work try swapping into the input port and swap with output and if none of that succeeds, I would recommend testing your hardware and then for the final option return the item and get a new one

Q: Do they work on PC well ?

Depending on the type of audio output the PC supports, they should work on the PC

Q: Would it work on a phone?

Yes, I use them both for music and discord and they work really well.
