Now I can into the car without getting rained on.
I love this! Ever since I saw how the inverted umbrella works I have wanted one. When I saw MrLifeHack's offering of various linings, I knew now was the time to get one. (Its being reasonably priced didn't hurt either.) I got the clouds lining - it makes it easier to smile on even the dreariest of soggy days. When closed, its length is about 32" (81 cm) from bottom of handle to top of umbrella. The portion which is fabric is about 22" (56cm). When opened, the inside diameter is about 42.5" (108 cm). The product was made with an eye to quality. The fabric is durable and the lining is printed with crisp colors. The seams are tight. The frame is sturdy. The 'auto-open' mechanism seems ready to handle countless uses. The solid handle is covered in that super-soft, waterproof, sheet of 'plastic'(?) we see on many high end products. In addition to the inverted action engineering to make this umbrella work, the shape of the handle is unique and useful. Just like they say in their promotional description, it allows me to have my hands free and still keep an umbrella over my head. The handle size is generous while the design allows even those with petite bone structure to enjoy its 'hands free' ability.I don't understand how the statement about saving space and keeping the home dry is accurate. If it is closed and standing on its non-handle end (standing on its ribs), it should drip water. It also takes up floor space about the size of couch pillow. How is that space saving? If it is standing on its handle, it should keep the area dry but it won't be standing on its own. The carry-sack is made with your typical ripstop-like fabric. Nothing too fancy or thick. Also, since this is an inverted umbrella, sliding it into its carry-sack is not as easy as, say, its counterpart.I live in the NW United States so walking in the rain can be a daily occurrence. I hated how my old umbrellas worked especially getting into the car. Getting the thing to close and put away without getting wet never happened. I can't wait to try my new inverted umbrella. We are coming into our rainiest season so I shouldn't have to wait too long!

The only problem - and it's a big one - ...
The only problem - and it's a big one - is that the lock mechanism seems stuck. It does not work so the only way to close it is with the Velcro strap. This means that I can't set it down in the standing position. I have not yet had the chance to use it since I received it in January though and I need advice. Should I return it? And if I do, who do I send it to and who will pay the courier charges?

The clouds have dirty streaks where it was folded
I thought this would be hands free. I thought by looking at the picture of the woman texting while it balanced on her arm I could have a handful of packages, or a kid and it would balance on my arm. Silly me, believing that picture! This is junk. The clouds have dirty streaks where it was folded, or maybe this was used. It isn't going to last long the cheap way it's constructed up by each metal tip either. I like the fact that it opens away from you instead of toward you though, so gave it 2 stars. One of those mistakes that are inevitable when shopping online all the time.

Thanks for a great product.
Finally used it yesterday in a extremely heavy downpour. It was easier to get out of the car and so much easier getting back in without getting wet from the umbrella (the old kind). Thanks for a great product.

Clouds aplenty
It is a bit unwieldy trying to figure out the best way to hold it when it is open. I love the way you can hang it on your arm instead of holding jt when you have it closed. You can dump the rain out the umbrella as you get into your car, clever.

Nice
So glad I got this. Got the red. It is big and easy to handle. So up & down with out a priblem. I use this to walk my dogs in the rain so they can do their "business ". And it is big enough for one at a time.

Worth the Price
It rained in California a few days after I purchased my inverted umbrella ☔️ I don’t know where all the water went. And, I can say I did not get wet neither did my car 🚗 or floor. I love it. I’m s very happy camper, it’s a Great Purchase.
