The WB98H/C instrument microphone is one of the best microphones used on Trumpets, Sax, Trombone, pretty much any brass instrument. The wireless adapter plug works with all Shure wireless systems. There are other mic's out there similar to the Shure, but for the price I like this one.

Is the preamp included with the microphone?

No preamp provided. This is a condenser mike that plugs into a mixer or preamp. The mixer or preamp needs to have phantom power.

Is the cable connector a mini xlr? Or is it a Shure 4 pin propeitory connector. I'm asking because I have phantom pwr supply with jacks ffor mini xlr
