I only use this as a clock in the shower, so that it's small and a good value; was the reason. I wish it was rechargeable; alas, it's still a very good buy and I recommend.

This is about the only flip timer on Amazon with a DIY setting (up to 99m:99s) and then it has another feature, a clock, when not in use! To start or stop a function, just shake the device. It's very satisfying 😌 . Lots of setting options for notifications, too. Love it so much I'm getting a 2nd one for another room.

This is a great companion for me when I am writing codes or working at my desk in general. It helps me keep track of the time I spent on each task. It has three modes: 5 minutes, 25 minutes and custom time. I can choose the mode that suits me best. It also serves as a normal clock when I am not using the timer. The time is easy to set up and it runs on 2 aa batteries. It has three ways of alerting me when the time is up: vibration, flash and alarm. I can turn them on or off according to my preference. The only downside I can think of is that it does not start the timer automatically when I flip it. I have to press the start button manually, which can be annoying sometimes. I wish it would start the timer right away when I flip it, because that would be more convenient.

Got this for my younger kids who need constant reminders to hydrate, especially now that it's summertime here in Texas. Wanted to avoid nosebleeds and heatstroke in general. Love that this is so easy for kids to use since the timer can be started and stopped with just shaking this little clock-timer. Love that I can easily switch from the clock mode to any of the set timer modes (5 mins, 25 mins, custom/DIY) just by flipping it over to that side. At times, it takes a couple seconds to get that side to switch over. A good tap gets it switched faster. What wasn't so intuitive was the initial setup. Make sure you save the manual and refer to it to learn how to set the clock & the custom timer, set your preferred alarm setting (i.e., vibration, sound, both), etc. Once I tested the various alarms and settings, it was easier to use this clock-timer. This timer uses 2 AAA batteries. I like that it has a Power button to turn this on/off to save battery usage (see pic). My kids and I love shaking this clock-timer to turn off their drink-water timer. They give this a 5-star. One of my younger kids takes this little portable clock-timer with him @ whichever location he's hanging out at home. Recommended.
