Timex Weekender Chronograph 40 mm Watch

This watch needs no introduction, it the most versatile timepiece I have ever owned, I come from a Casio/Citizen background and they are quite easy to Mix and Match with all outfits (except super-formal, duh) but this one, you don't even need to change the straps. Indiglo is awesome and super bright, ticking is not noisy at all and the chronograph movement is very functional, I love to just set it and watch it run and return to the original position, it is just so cool to see a watch moving like that lol. Strap quality is great and it has that rich leather smell to it, it is soft and adjusts to your wrist easily, this is the most comfortable watch I've ever had. I would recommend not going for a NATO if you have smaller wrists, it will look you a little bit too tall and bulky, nevertheless the two piece strap with white stitching on it is lovely. Pros: - Amazing strap, easy to remove (no tool needed). - Perfect thickness, bold yet discrete. - Amazing smooth chronograph. - Bright indiglo light (on the cream/black one, darkers dials will invert colors and you are going to have a bad time if you are colorblind). - Bang for the buck, feels and wears like a much MUCH more expensive watch. Cons: - No great packaging, mine arrived completely torn because it was sent in an envelope, despite of that the watch was totally fine, not a scratch on it.

The Weekender Chrono has been my favorite and signature watch for about a decade now, truly a 5 out of 5- IF the hands are right. I have both the black hands model (left) and silver hands (right). With silver hands, it's a 4 out of 5. You wouldn't think it would make much difference, but the former is WAY more legible, especially in dimmer lighting. I know Indiglo should negate that, but it doesn't quite for me. But for whatever reason, the silver hands have become the default. Since you've found your way to this model, count yourself lucky and pull the trigger.

It is a nice straightforward watch. It is easy to read in the daylight and at night thanks to the indiglow feature. The luminous hands do work, but they are not that bright. The guarantee says water resistant for wet conditions but not for swimming. The only minor complaint I have is that setting the date requires rotating the hour hand. Fortunately that only has to be done every couple of months.

This watched has become my daily “go-to” since it’s so versatile and has such a classic look. Since I’m a small guy (5’8” 145lb), the face size is in good proportion to my wrist especially considering some of the enormous chronographs out there. Although I’ve seen some negative feedback on the watch band being very flimsy, I think it works really well with the size of the watch. For the price, this is probably one of the best accessory purchases I’ve made in quite some time. The only negative (actually more like an oddity) is the second hand. What normally be a second hand is actually the stop watch function hand. Thankfully a simple email to Timex tech support set me straight.

My favorite watch all my life from high school through the military were Timex:) All 4 are no longer in one piece, as I am real hard on anything attached to my body. even crushed a few rings so bad had to have cut off. Used to have a very flexiable wrist band when in Air Force not seenm in a while: But this model has extra functions but it feels and looks like my old buddy and thre leather strap of my very first watch:) Easy to wear for hours.

I was looking for a chronograph with a white dial. Easy to read. Price was reasonable. I did have to go online to find instructions to zero the dials, but it wasn't to difficult after I found the info. I swapped out the leather band for an expandable.

Watch arrived ok, but looks like a prior purchaser returned it to Amazon.. and the watch did not run..

loving my new Timex , the wrist watch for the man or women that knows what they want, you see, i dont dive to a hundred metres and never will so that doesnt matter(although it is water resistant in shower or bath, bonus), and why would i want an oyster perpetual motion when my second hand still takes the same time to measure a minute , no! what i want is that indiglo light that shows me the time perfectly in the pitch dark but also lights my way to the bathroom and back to bed! best watch ever!

Posseggo orologi che hanno un prezzo molto più alto rispetto a questo, ma vedendo alcune recensioni di tanti esperti di orologi che li elogiano così tanto ed incuriosito dal provarlo, decisi di comprarne uno.. È diventato il mio migliore amico, il mio "carro armato" giornaliero.. Spesso lo abbino a cinturini nato colorati, da utilizzare giornalmente per mantenere uno stile casual, ma l'ho utilizzato anche con il cinturino originale per una cerimonia importante, e si è comportato egregiamente con un eleganza unica. A mio parere utilizzabile in tutte le occasioni o situazioni, magari variando cinturino. Il quadrante color bianco latte sporco mi fa impazzire, e con quel font dei numeri ha quel tocco di stile pilot vintage che lo rende perfetto. La cassa è lucida e abbastanza spessa, ma non da assolutamente fastidio, anzi. Movimento al quarzo (quindi a batteria), e c'è poco da dire.. Sono i più economici, ma pur sempre i più precisi. Inoltre mi permetto di aggiungere un mio parere PERSONALE: Timex è una marca americana, fondata nel 1854, con una storia alle spalle.. Onestamente preferisco mille volte questo, ad un famosissimo Daniel Wellington, che vende un prodotto di fattura cinese, dove ci stampa la marca, e rivende ad un prezzo spropositato e che di storia non ne ha proprio, ma è diventato famoso grazie agli influencer su instagram che pubblicizzavano quella marca. Chiudendo il discorso, se non siete appassionati di orologeria, oppure se siete appassionati alle prime armi, allora compratelo ed usatelo come "carro armato". Se siete appassionati, beh allora compratelo comunque, perché è un pezzo bellissimo e con una storia.

El reloj cumple las expectativas y es fiel a la imagen publicitaria. De momento funciona bien, si obviamos el lio del cronometro, que hay que leer las instrucciones para que se ponga a cero. Pero el motivo de mi escrito y por lo que no le pongo 5 estrellas es porque el cuadradito y el número que indica el dia son tan pequeños que a simple vista no se ve i con gafas de lectura, a duras penas. Por lo demás, como ya he dicho, todo bien.
