World Spice at Home: New Flavors for 75 Favorite Dishes

I liked all the recipes, and the details on how to use the spices. Also enjoyed the way it was written. It was very informative.

This is perfect for me. I've been ordering from World Spice for many years - it is good to get spices from a reputable company that moves a lot of product so you know it's fresh; and if you order ground spices, they do that to order - again, fresh.The book is great because it gives solid recipes for various types of dishes using their spice blends with the bonus of giving recipes so that you can create those spice blends yourself from scratch. The variety of dishes and cuisines represented is just right - Syrian, Israeli, Moroccan, Indian and Chinese are all intriguing to me and ones I haven't mastered - so I am excited to try these flavors. The recipes are not at all complicated; they are well-written and very doable.

Family from the Middle East are good cooks, so was hoping World Spice would come close to their home cooked meals, but didn't. For anyone who has never tasted good home cooked meals from the middle east, this book will begin their journey, by providing many basics from which they can build to suit their individual tastes. It's hard to find home cooking in a recipe book.

I love this cookbook! From the kale salad with pomegranates to the decadent crab on English Muffins, so far every recipe has been excellent and worthy of an encore (we've made 4 recipes thus far -- with most of the book marked to try!). I really like the different spices used -- and you can buy the 'companion' spice set on the Worldspice.com website. Makes a really fabulous gift for the foodie in your life. A fun way to try 'traditional' things with a new twist. Highly recommended.

This is a great recipe book for anyone who wants to learn how perk up recipes with spices. Most of the spices I am familiar with, but the recipes lay a lot of new ways to make use of these sweet and savory spices. I bought this book used and it looks like new. Will definitely use this vendor again!!

I gave this book as a gift. The recipient absolutely loves it. I read some of the recipes and information on spices and it seemed excellent for an adventurous cook.

This is a superb cookbook. The recipes for the various spice blends have glorious photos of ingredients. There are easy to follow recipes from appetizers through desserts featuring the various blends. For anyone who loves flavor varieties and foods made from whole ingredients this is the cookbook to own or give as a gift.

Only wish their pumpkin pie spice mix recipe was in the book. Several of their other blends are in it and they are all wonderful! Absolutely my fav 2015 workhorse cookbook. I will be using this one a lot.

Fabulous book - wealth of information on spices to help you understand combinations and create your own spice mixes. Then a huge number of recipes to try the spice mixes in. Colour, glossy pictures and spice combinations helps recognise what spices look like and where you would use them. Best spice book I've seen!

Finally I can put all those exotic herbs and spices to good use.
