Works well for sportbike tires
I bought these tire "irons" to change the tires on my Yamaha FZ6 (I didn't want to pay the dealership). The problem with traditional tire irons is they scratch the hell out of your wheel unless you cover it with something to protect it. These tire tools provide a nice fix in that the material they are made of will not damage your wheel at all. They are a little bit more difficult to use, and I wish there was a set that included three of them to make the job easier. Make sure to read the included directions carefully lest you break them in the process! My only issue was I found it much harder to get the tire back on the wheel than I did taking off using these tools. As an alternative, I used the zip tie method (check it up on youtube) to get the tire back on the wheel, which worked great!

Strong and work with sport bike tires.
They work as advertised. I was able to remove and install sport bike tires without scratching my rims. I did hear some cracking like they were going to bust with the amount of force that is needed to get the tire on but no problems. I will add that there are no special magical tool to make this job any easier why removing and mounting tires by hand but they work great to keep the rims in perfect condition.

Alright, but plastic sucks
Great if you don't want to damage the rim, but they are plastic. I broke 2 while trying to mount a tire, and after a few uses they bent pretty heavily and became worn. Getting a rim protector and using metal tire spoons would be better.

Stubbys
2nd set of Stubbys. Broke the 1st set after a few years. They work okay. They are a bit thick. Work good for not scratching the rim though. Good for soft sidewall nxt tires

Work great and don't scratch rims
Heaviest tire has been 650 dual sport. Work great and don't scratch rims. May be more difficult for lower profile tires. There is a technique to this. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS OR YOU WILL BREAK THEM.....as the clearly stated in the booklet that comes with the levers. Lubrication goes a long way.

Disappointed
Despite using this product as the instructions specify, one of the levers broke. I actually used the levers of a Topeak BICYCLE multi-tool to install the BT-016 motorcycle tire. Will absolutely never ever purchase or recommend the Stubby Pro tool. Wasted my money!

Saves your rims.
Saves your rims. Easy to use. They are a little thicker than metal spoons but if you use a rim saver it's about the same.

Fantastic!
These things are absolutely fantastic. Changed a 120/70R17 and 160/60ZR17 without a hitch and no scratches on black rims. It's good to have a second hand when you're remounting to help compress the sidewalls of bigger tires.
