AMAZING. I love this CD
AMAZING. I love this CD. Probably my favorite of his. I particularly love the song about JOB. It give me chills evrytime God begins to talk to Job. Michael has such a way of making the scripture real and getting it down into your very being like meditation with beautiful songs with such deep revelation.

Drawn to the Music
As a Songwriter and Musician, Michael's music moves and touches my Spirit. In Michael's own words "these songs are really nothing more than an invitation to open the Old Testament to look for and find Jesus there waiting patiently as ever to reveal Himself to us... an invitation to awe". The music bring's shock and awe, exploding with joy and culminating with the awe of hope. All who listen will be drawn into this invitation of Faith, Hope and Love. Great CD
I love Michael Card's music and the messages he has are very well done. However, sometimes I think his lyrics seems more like prose than poetry/lyrics and his voice can get a bit annoying. But I do like his music overall.

Wonderful Reflections On The Old Testament!
Michael Card stands as a major figure in the Christian music scene since he is both a great musician but also - and perhaps most exceptionally - a great Biblical theologian. What, therefore, you get in his work is a combination of great tunes and illuminating lyrics that cause Biblical truth to come alive. You may well have your own favourite compositions, but I loved his Ancient Faith recordings - where he produced some fantastic songs based on seeing Jesus in the Old Testament. Having longed to have this on CD at a sensible price, along comes this collection with the most part of the tracks remastered and at a bargain price. Wonderful. Personal favourites come from the Beginnings first section - Jubilee, In The Wilderness are great! I missed favourites like The Word Is So Near, Asleep On Holy Ground and A Face That Shone, but then you can top up your collection with the MP3 downloads from the Ancient Path Box Set. Well worth adding to any collection!
