This 40th anniversary picture disc 7" version of David Bowie's Breaking Glass EP features three previously unreleased live versions of the original EP tracks plus the addition of an unreleased live version of "Hang On To Yourself." The images used on the picture disc are by Masayoshi Sukita (A-Side) and Andrew Kent (AA-Side) taken during the Isolar II tour of 1978. The Breaking Glass EP now features: "Breaking Glass," "Art Decade," "Hang On To Yourself" and "Ziggy Stardust" live from Earls Court in London during the Isolar II tour of 1978. These four tracks are alternative performances to the ones that recently appeared on the critically acclaimed live album Welcome To The Blackout (Live London '78), and none were featured on the original 1978 EP.

Not one of the better 40th Anniversary Picture Discs
I awaited eagerly when I heard that "Breaking Glass" was to be the next 40th Anniversary Picture Discs in Bowie's repertoire. I was bitterly disappointed when it arrived, only to find that it is basically a Live E.P! Although it is categorised as a double AA side, with "Breaking Glass" and "Art Decade" on the first side, and "Hang on to Yourself" and "Ziggy Stardust" on the second side, ALL tracks are live, and we are supposed to be grateful that they are "All Previously Unreleased" tracks. I don't particularly like live albums, E.Ps or the like - It makes one feel as though Bowie, who was the greatest of performers, is giving his all to his audience, and these tracks certainly fall short of any charisma. Actually, "Hang on to Yourself" does have a certain Oomph factor, and it was for this reason and this reason alone, that I gave it TWO stars. Very boring picture of the man himself on the Disc, BOTH SIDES. I doubt if there will be the demand for this disc, as there undoubtedly still is for "Starman", which punters are demanding a fortune. It's quite obvious really - Very disappointing!

Bowie fan less than happy
Pretty underwhelmed. Breaking Glass and Art Decade are pretty poor sound quality, grainy, poor distorted top and poor mix. Best you can say is the picture disk looks good. Pay a bit more and get the excellent Welcome to the Blackout album on vinyl, still available. Sorry this has to be a less than glowing review as I am a massive Bowie fan and always have been. If it was some sort of bootleg then fair enough but it's not.

Great guide
Best way to see Berlin is to land, find a nice bar and hope a few locals take you out, this book will help you remember where you’ve been when you get home.

Cool and different versions
This is a very thick quality vinyl single with two rarer mixes on it. Enjoyable and crucial for fans.

Great record but is this necessary?
Product is as expected, but is this amount of packaging really necessary?
