It’s tastes good and not at all like a protein snack. It’s thick and very cake like. Not at all like cake pops when the batter is densely packed. The protein to calorie ratio is good too. As a vegetarian I’m always looking for easy ways to ensure I have enough protein for the day. These will definitely be added to my snack rotation.

Opened a brownie with expiry day almost a year out, yet with a large patch of mold on it. Multiple packs in the box had this issue. And I eventually threw out the box altogetherThe unspoiled brownies did taste good and had a clean ingredient list. It’s a good product but there’s definitely problems with packaging or quality control that need to be addressed.

With so many health oriented foods, it's hard to find ones that taste good consistently. These don't have a weird aftertaste or feel like they're nadeocf cardboard or anything, basically brownie texture with birthday cake taste.

Buyer Beware.The say they are brownies but they are more like pieces of un-frosted cake. I’ve had all the normal flavors they offer and they are all good but Birthday Cake flavor is my favorite.The problem is, half, if not more we’re rotten. It’s a crapshoot, whether I’m going to open a fresh one or a rotten one. When they are rotten they smell and taste like aerosol spray adhesive. I immediately have to throw it out. They are not expired either. They were good until Feb 2023. I think it’s the seller I got them from, because I bought a variety pack from another seller and every single one has been good.When it’s fresh the Birthday cake “brownies” taste like a slice of white cake minus the frosting. It’s awesome. This is my guilty pleasure because it’s got a bunch of protein and only 145 calories. I don’t feel bad when I eat one to help curb morning hunger. I really would love to give them 5 stars honestly I would, but having to throw out more then half, always wondering if my brownie is rotten on not kills it.I plan to order more from another seller, hopefully they will be fresh.

These bars are okay. The macros/calories are great, and as a food bar, the nutrition is right there I want it to be. However, there are a lot of reviews here talking about the very strong chemical flavor, and it is definitely a factor. I have found the cinnamon flavor to be the best — it is a little dry, but warmed up that is mitigated. I have also tried the pumpkin spice, and it was even drier. The Blondie and Birthday cake are where it really breaks down for me — they are so cloyingly sweet that the chemical taste lingers, burning, in my mouth. I got through the blondes by warming them with butter or peanut butter, but the birthday cake is even worse. I would really love these if they would just tone down the sweetener!

I have bought a variety of these brownies in the past. I ordered two boxes of the birthday cake ones. Some of them were fine but most of them from the two boxes had white all over them. For the price we pay for these, it’s a disgrace and ridiculous that most of them were going bad. I don’t eat them all the time except for a rare occasion as a treat. The expiration dates are in January 2023. I opened one this morning and it was covered in mold! And no, these weren’t places in a heated area or a cold area. It was room temperature like what a store would be like if you bought them in person like from GNC! So, do not buy these because something isn’t right. How are 3/4 of two boxes of these brownies molded over when they expire in 1/2023? Save your money because you don’t know what you will get!

Love the taste! The fact that I can indulge a little sweet treat while still obtaining my protein is amazing! I’m a fan!! 😍

They look like they would taste great. First, the smell. It’s unusual and not good. The taste I can’t describe. Tastes unusual and now I’m stuck with a box no one will eat. Definitely not worth the money.

I wish there were more flavours available in Canada - I live these products so much
