#1 New York Times bestselling author of American Assassin &;now a major motion picture Bestselling author Vince Flynn&;&;the best pure adrenaline-charged action writer out there today&; ( The Providence Journal )&;puts Mitch Rapp in the crossfire as America&;s enemies tighten their grip. Returning from a covert mission, Mitch Rapp was publicly hailed by the president for his role in the fight against terrorism. After years of working in the shadows, Rapp was caught in the media spotlight&;and marked for death by virtually every terrorist in the world. Now a CIA advisor, Rapp is ready to battle terror far from the front lines. But when a Navy SEAL team in the Philippines is ambushed, all evidence points to a leak within the US State Department. And a greater threat lurks&;a ruthless assassin working for the most powerful men in the Middle East, who are bent on igniting a world war. With the world watching, Rapp must hold back the flames of Armageddon&; Review: InVinceble - Another great read by Mr Flynn. Always rollicking on with events, personalities and storylines. Already have the next one downloaded. Hope it's continues the roll that the others are on. Review: Solid political thriller - This is not my favourite outing for Much Rapp - but it is a high bar and it is still well worth the read. Assassins, bombings and complex machinations in the context of the Israeli - Palestinian conflict and it's wider implications for the USA and Saudi Arabia. Rapp and associates have to unravel and deal with an apparently unconnected series of violent events. The political aspects are believable and the action could easily be mistaken for real events you might hear of, or read about in the news. This context gives the Mitch Rapp stories a less fanciful dimension than some other "black -ops" series. So if you enjoy political machinations with your explosive action then these books are for you. If you do not enjoy such complications maybe not? I will certainly be continuing with the series!

Separation of Power
Separation of Power is the sixth book in the Mitch Rapp series, and it’s every bit as good as the first five. Action and intrigue are the hallmark of these books, so, if this is what you like, you must start reading about the number one U.S. assassin. The only drawback is the books are hard to put down and makes you want to get and read the next one in the series.

Great book that you can't put down
As with all the books from Vince Flynn, I found that they were very difficult to put down. I unfortunately started reading them out of order but look forward to reading them all again in the right order. Brilliant reads with great characters. Very true to life?

4.5 stars for a very good book!
I only recently discovered the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn. I was lucky enough to get the first six books in the series for 99p each, and have just finished reading book 4, Executive Power. I really enjoyed this book and I thought the action and the suspense were well executed (no pun intended!). This book was written from three view points, Mitch, David and Kennedy, Even though I found myself skipping ahead to pursue each individual storyline as the tension increased, and then going back to catch up, I didn't feel that this detracted from my enjoyment of the book as a whole. I would say that this book is even better than the first one, which I really enjoyed, and I'm just about to start Book 5, Memorial Day. I'm a huge fan of Lee Child and would recommend the Mitch Flynn series to any Lee Child fans.

Mitch Rapp book 4
Good story line. Lots of information about the struggles between Israel and Arab nations which is very prevalent given the current situation. Not convinced that Mr Rapp will be taking a back seat in future developments.

One notch up from the run-of-the-mill American Special forces Super Hero
To some extent this book highlights some of the complex politics of the Middle East and throws a little light on America's understanding and interactions with the area. The Hero is every bit the dashing super-hero special agent as you could want, I for one found it more than a little amusing when he got shot in the arse (quite literally). The story starts off with two threads which you could be forgiven for thinking might become intertwined, but they actually don't which makes the whole a bit disjointed. American Politics and inter Agency rivalries abound as the President is faced with a deepening crisis and threatened oil embargo where the economic consequence of actions hold sway over a concept of right and wrong. Overall it is a jolly good advert for the shale oil industry

Typical Rapp style...
A good read; the insight into the Middle East and the complexities of issues that surround them is touched upon to complement the story nicely. All in all a good continuation to the Rapp saga.

Astonishing--and CURRENT
This series is so pertinent and so well executed that it is difficult to realize that the author has passed on and the book is years in the past. It is certainly immediately understandable--and the history is disturbing. Once again-it is a marvelous read--with the odd exception of the lead character having recently married a woman who has and will make nothing but absurd problems. I hope that will end soon.

Packender Thriller
